On weekends I generally can only fit in watching two games or so.

With that in mind I like to try to pick a fantasy side that has at least 2 or 3 players from any two teams (team doesn't matter really, though being a broncs fan they are generally one of the two).

This is so that when I watch my 2 games a week I have plenty of fantasy players to watch. E.g Might pick Macca, McGuire, Milford, and then also JT, McLean, Coote.

Anyone else like this? I'll admit, makes selections a tad harder, and my scores may suffer slightly, but I don't mind, I enjoy watching the games live while tracking my players.

    Hey all!

Glad I spent time reading through all the pages. Was really indecisive between R James, Papalii or Taupau but think I'm going to lock in Taupau.

Curious though out of those 3 who would get a spot on your team?

    Thanks

I considered the same three (and currently have none!). Initially had James at the thought of a bounce back year, but talk of his move to an edge (which was backed up by stats) scared me off (though...the addition of Cartwright may push him back to the middle?). Papalii I liked....but preferred Taupau because of playing rd 13

    Welcome Joey,

Of those I am not a big fan of James. I think 2016 was a one-off that he won't replicate. He is not terrible, but better value out there.

Papalii and Taupau I think you get what you pay for - useful for DPP and decent scoring, but not sure they are massive value.

For DPP forward guns, my first choice would be Josh McGuire for a little bit cheaper than those 2.

Thanks for the advice of a new approach. Although being a Warriors supporter it probably wouldn't work out too well for me. Couldn't stand watching the Warriors and having my Fantasy team do shitter than they are.

Thanks Milchcow for the insight. Although personally I think Taupau has more potential to go boom compare to McGuire who will sit around the 40-50 point mark which consistency isn't a downside at all but I do recall him getting a few HIAs?

Probably updating it to look and function like the new NRL Fantasy site, which is a mistake IMO. The layout of the app/site from last year was user friendly and did not need updating that much.
