Aside from the fact that Evans will start on prop, instead of Alvaro, due to his size and playing style. Evans is likely to play at least equal to or more minutes and score around the same, while being priced considerably less.

    Am I missing something?

Surely Evans wouldn't get the starting spot over Alvaro? Mannah and Evans starting is just crap. I thought he'd be the same as he was at the Roosters a 30 minute bench prop with no real upside in terms of fantasy.

    The Trap List:

    Cartwright
    Sam Taga
    Paasi
    Takarangi

I think Aubbs could potentially be added to that list. I don't really see Carty as a trap to be honest but time will tell.

I thought Evans went to the Eels so he could start? Or at least get more game time.

Who are going to be the top 4 scoring props at season's end (ie you ultimately want two or three of them in your team and preferably start with one of them)?

Speculation, but I would say Fifita, Vaughan, Taupau, Woods.

There are question marks over Fifita (fitness) Vaughan (with Graham) and Woods (Origin and new team). NOBODY has mentioned Taupau yet - he can be rocks and diamonds and is priced at his value. But DPP and with a secure role he could be a very good early POD pick.

Even the Eels forums have Evans starting & Alvaro on the bench for impact. They say Evans wouldn't have the same impact value that Alvaro does.

Yeah right. Don't see him having a lot of impact and increasing his minutes a lot but for his price he could have some potential.

    I'll go

    Fifita, James, Graham + Papalii

all tipping the scales at over a 52 average

I would consider him if he starts but not on the bench. He's burnt me before though so not confident.

I'm tossing whether Watson is better value than JRey or not

JReyns lowest average was last year at 33. Previous seasons of 37, 45, 40 (avg 41)

I think they have always looked at Brooks as their long term play maker. They were always grooming him into that for the future. JRey will just come in and play his more natural game. Will do some kicking but free to run the ball more. If anything JRey could be a good option as he will have more focus and a more direct role which if anything I think will help his game. Looking at him over Watson actually.

Nevermind I'm still getting confused with the pricing system and saw that Austin and Moylan are more costly than him. I'll stick with him
