The “who knows” is what I hate about the Souths backs, you could snap up a cheapie just for him to be dropped a week later. There is so much instability in their back line the only surety is Gagai and GI and they ain’t cheap so it will be hard to grab a cheapie with confidence even if they name one.

Random thought - got half an eye on Christian Welch. Might end up with a starting gig if storm continue to like having glasby on bench. Always a bit of a logjam for mins at storm though but with harris and mclean gone, there are opportunities. Be surprised if hoffman plays big mins again this year and kas will slack off his fitness. Also been mentioned that nas will spend more time on edge

I’ve been keeping a sneaky eye on him myself.... he’s a tough nut who loves an offload and could become quite fantasy relevant if he can get some mins. With Hoffman there and Kasiano as well it might be hard, heard rumours NAS has been training out wide also so it depends who is placed where because he can be in the middle or edge really but he definitely looks the goods when he’s on.

A lot of talk that Hoffman is a shoe in for Harris' starting spot but what I'm reading is Hoffman was brought for depth similar to Myles last year & that Stimson will get it. The Storm have been grooming Stimson for 5 years through their system.

Anyone got news on Sam McKendry and him coming back from injury? Its a packed panthers forward rotation but surely if git plays 30min and way outscores his price

Looks as though Ponga will be most owned for 2018

I think I read somewhere on a Panthers forum that he was training hard & so far seemed to be over his niggling injuries but I think he's too far down the pecking order now & might have to bide his time & wait for injuries to get a shot. He's exactly the kind of prop that the Warriors need.

He’s back from what I’ve heard but he will be lucky to make the 17. Kikass will be there at the same team for same price

I've just noticed I only have 10 players in my team that play round 13 & only 2 of them are forwards. I might have to rejig a couple of players.

How many of your starting team do you honestly think you'll still have come round 13?

This sounds familiar. Hoffman was basically going to retire if not for storm giving him a deal.

I'm not too concerned about the bye rounds atm, I'll be making at 10 trades before then.
10 players for round 13 isn't too bad for a round 1 start
