Yeah i got him rd13 and don't consider him a keeper. I would be happy with 45's before he becomes Fifita in rd19

Merrin and Taupau are the best options. Barnett if you want to save some cash and have a ount on someone.

or Isaah Yeo who's been quietly averaging 48 all season (although pesonally I'd prefer Merrin for about the same price)

I won't be because of trades status, but in your position I'd strongly consider it. I wouldn't count on 175 points extra though as Random suggested. More like 120 points. I see Kapow averaging about the same as Jdb. Even so i probably would, but then i play aggressively

I really want Barnett to come good. I know if I pick him something will happen. But it really allows me to solidify my WFBs and Halves. Tough decision to be making, especially since I'm ranked as low as I think I've ever been before.

With the number of trades you have left mate, its a no-brainier IMO to make the trade. Bring in Taupau I'd say. Even if you assume JDB outscores Taupau by 5 on average from here on in, Taupau will still net you an 50+ points but its more likley you'll net ~100. I dont reckon you find a single trade at this point which will get you a better return than that!!

Someone said it earlier, but what you should be hoping is that others in you same position dont, or cant make that trade and for each of those you should make up solid ground. I'll be one. I dont have the trades left (unless I completely change my plans for the run home which I might be forced into now...)

Would you trade out Musgrove instead of Yates (for Fifita) this week if it means an extra player (in Yates) this week? Musgrove theoretically plays round 18, and so does Yates, but I'm worried about holding Yates until then, simply because of the knights rotation and Buhrers potential return.

Musgrove seemed to hvae one of his best games of the season last week so may continue to get solid mins/scores.

Maybe I'm over thinking it and should just play whats in front of me, which is Yates this week for probably an extra 30 poitns.

JDB > Merrin/Taupau 
Milf > Mansour via Lolohea

Can hopefully upgrade Lolohea/Suli at some point to Cleary.

Forced into keeping Suli this week so hoping he has a good game.

@Loomer suggested Gurgess went off for an HIA last week. Im not sure if he confirmed that or not? I couldnt find any reference to that anywhere. If so, that might imply Musgrove's minutes were artificially inflated. Add Surgess into the equation and perhaps even more so. That being said, listening to the game on the radio the commentators will giving lots of praise to Musgrove. But who knows aye, you can think about in the most logical way possible and then Madge comes into the equation!

Eyeballing it Yate's minutes are a bit (5?) lower when Buhrer was playing but you'd be a bit unlucky if he got demoted anymore than that wouldnt you if/when Buhrer comes back?
(is he still scheduled for a return in 17?)

I'd go with what it seems like your head is already telling you and keep Yates, my hunch is that you are 30 points better off that way. Also with the uncertainty surrounding it all I've learnt that you are better off making decisions based on what you are most sure about, and like you say, in this case it is this weeks games!

Thanks, yeah actually its a bit of a no brainer the more I think about. Should net an extra 30 odd points this week and barring unforeseen circumstances, they both score roughly the same in round 18 anyway.

People with Laybutt, just keep an eye on the cowboys. Looking at their squad, if Thurston doesn't back up I would think Laybutt comes in as Thompson isn't listed in their reserves. Probably not overly useful for points but may affect AE and loophole possibilities.

Any chance of Fogarty getting a run?

Good call, certainly a possibility. TMM there too.

I can do Musgrove to Fifita and JDB to Merrin with 1k left. Great for this week.

With my trade situation though it would likely mean running home with JBrom and Merrin instead of JGraham and JDB. Not worth it, is it?
