Gutho is a gun but expecting him to be the saviour straight away after a knee reconstruction is asking abit too much

I think he'll be a massive help, just because its a 3rd option the defence has to worry about. He wouldnt be back if was wasn't at least functional, so he's a big gain for them.
We all saw last week how the Panthers jam defence contained the Eels because they could rush up on 6 & 7 and not worry about any other option. They have to at least respect the 3rd man in the backline now, even if he is a little rusty.

Parra needs to muscle up against the giant Raiders pack, the loss of Brown is a huge killer for my fantasy team and to a lesser extent, the eels

We can't beat Canberra in Canberra, it never happens and not with the outs we have and our form.
Better effort against the Panthers, but as others have mentioned, we lack. That third option in attack and Norman just isn't an active danger at the moment. Will be a huge win, but can't see it happening, in fact, we could have a stack put on us.
For the record, I don't think Moses was or is ever going to be our saviour. I wasn't overjoyed by his signing at the time, but there is no doubt he played well last year after he settled in, but people suggesting he was ever a chance at NSW were kidding themselves, so Fittler has a bit to answer there. Also, I've never said he is a top 10 half, I just don't think he has been our main problem across the first 5 rounds. Big improvement by forwards last week, but again discipline killed us, giving away silly penalties that allowed the Panthers to kick 3 penalty goals, which was the difference in the end. Moses is desperately in need of someone else to pick up some of the attacking slack cause up till now he has had zero support from the 1,6 or 9. Gutho will help, but Pritchard and Norman both have to start to run and attack the line more.

Why did cam king get dropped? when they were going forwards he actually provided some attack out of dummy half. Pritchard provides zero.

Agreed, I'm miffed, is he injured? He was the key in our late season run last year, so not sure why he has been made the scape goat for our terrible start.

It doesn't help when one of your elite wingers doesn't take his first run until the 75th minute mark..

Could have had 4 runs and doubled French's runs

Again, discipline and key players failing to run the ball makes our attack. Look terribly stagnant and one dimensional. Long year ahead.
On a side note, Tigers continue to impress, nice work to them, kudos.

Interesting, haven't heard it. It would be a shame, but he is certainly off his game currently. Player swap? Stuart brought Norman to the Eels so not totally out of the blue.

the halves are so badly out of form you would wonder what they got up to over the off season.
Its been reported that arthur and norman clash heads a bit, so yeah it wouldnt be out of the blue as you said ice

@MrCashman might be onto something. Reports today Moses and Coke man don't get on and Arthur has "lost the room"

BA has always come across to me as a great man manager type of coach, I'd be amazed if he'd lost the players.
