I'm only doing it so I can get SMat in CTR.

Thinking I might play Ponga and if he doesn't play just cop the AE, which would be Abbey anyway. Only concern is any late scratchings I don't find out about would give me a donut.

Also kudos to Milchy for the link to the new thread when he locks up after the party, makes life much easier on the phone! Cheers  Teach that English git please.... Welsh

Don't know why people are so down on Suli.

Even discounting his big score against 1-leg Inglis, he's had 1 crap game and 2 good ones in a period where the Tigers have sucked. As far as rookie wingers go, he's about as good as you can hope for.

I'm comfortable with my decision to play him over Cotric this week.

At the moment playing Suli Cotric and Idris

    Next minute Abbey scores 60

Abbey couldn't score in a brothel with the entire doggies salary cap. Granted he may get a season high score (say 20) against the Broncs, but he doesn't look remotely interested in getting involved. I've pretty much just resigned him to a red dot. May even trade him for Feeney.

    Everyone trading in CHN

Would you be happy if he played 1 game, made $40k, and then never played again?
I think you have to be prepared for that possibility. And if you don't think that helps your team, then think seriously about the trade.

Thank you Cow, I have been so advised. I'm doing it anyway. Almost did it last week with May and at least with CHN there is at least a possibility of cash however unlikely. Gives me maximum cash out and gets SMat into the centres. If he doesn't play again, I can live with that.

I understand it, as I'm pretty close to doing it myself.

No doubt part of it is getting caught up in group think, who doesn't love a bit of deluded mass hysteria

But also, sometimes you just need to take a risk, and CHN seems as good as any that might appear.
The other option is really just sitting around and hoping for an injury to thrust some other unknown into the limelight.

Doesn't make a difference it will be a spot killed off because there's no one worth getting. Maybe Frawley in case he gets a couple more games

I really don't want to trade out Kelly --> CHN but that is what i am going to do.

Kelly might make a few more dollars but I have the opportunity to get BT in now while he's bottomed out or close to + get in a cheap $138k who may or may not play again after this weekend. Either way, he'll still make SOME cash if I need a little extra down the track and he's shown he's a capable first-grader... even one the coach is happy to start rather than off the bench. That has to count for something.

would love to keep Kelly for longer but can't justify it against bringing in a potential keeper in Podene.

Granted this may go the way of my Whitehead trade and see Kelly score 50 and Podene cop a 25 Rolling Eyes

Carrying on from Spectre do you like these trades:
    Sione out - CHN in
Lamb out - C. Walker in (have Guth at wfb so I can swap them around)

    Cheers.

whats the plan with the tigers hooker spot. is mccilrick going to stay in that role for much longer, or is he there to hold down the fort till ballin gets some more fitness

might not be able to afford a primo hooker upgrade for brailey, so may have to get creative with a cash grab instead

Will Ballin actually make it onto the field in 2017. Was supposed to play last week but got injured.

I really like these trades and could do myself with probably enough for Bodene and Slater next week but feel like Sione and Lamb have money to make but how long will it take?
