Fantasy wise, I was going to punt Idris this week, but I am thinking along similar lines since the news broke. Definite hold until the new coach names his preferred roster.

Well Idris needs to get over his foot injury first, before the new coach can select or drop him

    I can afford Norman!

You said though that you've had thurston for 2 years? As I can trade in for Norman - is this still a wise move? Thanks!

I had him last year and the year before, I currently have C. Norman and S. Johnson who both have an average in the 60's.
Thurstons stats in his first 2 games relied on try assists, more kick metres and metres gained.
I think his job has been made tougher with his teams injuries.
I would upgrade to Norman, he does the majority of kicking where he normally gets 15 to 16 points alone.

    Suli > Ponga
    Python > Slater

    Gives me this;

    Smith
    Vaughan, Yates
Surgess, McGuire, Taylor, Kaufusi, KBrom, Bateman
    Johnson, Walker, Jacks
    Turbo, Sione
    RTS, Slater, Ponga

Pritchard, Papalli, Paufusi, Hingano, Idris, Kelly, Jennings, Fogarty

Pritchard is going to cost me a lot of trades to get to a gun HKR. No money left.

Not at all.   Allthough 28 from 52 minutes does translate to that.  He averaged closed to 45 last full season he hd.  That is what we have to go on.

He is priced at 22ish.  He has the potential to hit some big scores.  He also has the potential to be busted 2nd game in.

I would be happy with 30's at that price instead of 10's and 16's.

    This.

I see Slater as a consistent 35-40 player, and hence a bargain atm. Potential injury is the main risk with Slater.

has there been any more news about Norman's hammy? was it a genuine injury or did they just think they'd get away with resting him against a depleted Titans?
