Haha thanks SIK, have done about 20 reversals moving all the DPP players around
I guess I rank the trade as primarily for Whitehead and then Nikorima as bonus.
Essentially swapping Gutho for Whitehead could have a 100k swing in 2 weeks (one losing 50k another gaining 50k)

I also looked at my WFB and how it would look like in short term
RTS/Walker/Hayne (potential downgrade if he returns to form)

Trying to avoid moving Aubo and Smat as that is the perfect CTR combo for me and gives me stable scores

Not crazy enough for Feeney and NuBrown either yet or another NPR so need another starter in Niko.

Ideally i want my 4 reserves to be 3x CTR and 1x Hooker so leaves me CHN left who can stay there and make a little cash before an upgrade later on.
Short term it may be another FRF like JBromwich due to $$ so will see what happens

The Aubo/Sione move would only be temporary. Because if your playing Cotric, what's it matter if it's at WFB or CTR?

Maybe do a Kelly downgrade next week, move Aubo/Sione back to CTR, and upgrade CHN to Whitehead.

Thanks Sik, have looked it over and gone your option of just Yates out Niko in
But looking it  over it again will still be short next week and each week playing catchup with whiteheads price but will find a downgrade for Rennings or Walker then

So stayed with original option as opted not to get caught out making last minute trades and getting caught.
    Appreciate the advice
Been some great discussion and shows what DPP players can do

Yeah mate, things are ticking along ok and have a lot of players in tomorrow's game.
Might have messed things up with this weeks trades but overall it should hopefully be ok.

Not going with the original plan of CHN as a reserve and trading in Niko/Whitehead over Gutherson/Yates may not have been the best option but can't live in regret.

No footy tonight has wrecked the flow of things so will have to wait until tomorrow to get the fix.

    How are you tracking?

Edited: Aubo out of the match so will get Frawleys ae . Not good

    Round 8 results

Round 8 is over and was a mixed bag. Due to the schedule it felt a bit on an anticlimax with just 1 game between the end of saturday and tuesday afternoon.
Anyways there were a few last minute players pulling out, some player changes including positional and a raft of other things, so this had some huge impact on peoples teams especially if you could dodge these bullets.
With all the holidays and work it has been a couple busy weeks in real life so with things slowing down, a new pc coming in the next couple days so will be back in business.

    H2H
Congrats to Paceys best and Last tribe, solid wins there boys Smile

    Trade review

Feeling pretty mixed here, Gutherson scored alright and Yates earned a starting spot with some luck due to injury so in hindsight this was a poor trade.
While Whitehead scores should pick up, hoping Nikorima can get a couple decent scores in as was a little below what i was expecting from him.
The irony here was I didn't want to rely on CHN and Yates this week for scoring, both went on to score very well......
Long term I should hopefully be alright but it's the trades and sideways feeling that hurts.

    Injuries
Idris is meant to be out for another few weeks, who knows with Abbey but will be lucky to play again this year.

    Form
Smat playing in the halves isn't good, all the cows are close to peaking and Frawley has turned into an AE nightmare so hoping he gets a start soon.

Hey booze, in this case it wouldn't have helped, but if you were playing Kelly you should have stayed him and reserved Aubbs for flexibility. Kelly played early so no point locking in a reserve spot unnecessarily

Cheers Milch, problem was I had rolled back the team 3-4 times just before lockout as I chopped and changed my team so was bound to happen.
In an ideal world i should have had Aubo as a reserve as he played later, then swapped the reserve to Tetevano once he was out.
Kelly was a last minute 'safe' selection after deciding against making CHN my last reserve with Frawley as a backup.
Sums up the week really, but this happens

I Know well the dangers of trade reversal stuffing and last minute switches stuffing with team selection.

AS a fellow CHN non-reserver I also sympathise (although if I had put him in it would have been for F Kaufusi, so perhaps it was for the best)

    Round 9 trades

2 trades and brings my war chest up to 233k so can get myself a nice cut price half.

    Jarryd Hayne
Looks to be hungry again to play the game, has a point to prove and will be played in my starting team. Provides a cash out for Kelly

    Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad
Hope he doesn't turn into a Abbey V2 but from what I have seen from the kid he looks a future star.
Worth bringing in and seeing what happens, while Cotric could wait until after round 12, the cash allows me to bring in a me to bring in a gun half soon and makes the points back up here (and prior to it)

Dpp is also a massive tick in the box too Smile

Current team using byes (Assuming worst case that Hayne/Wallace/Fifita play)

My Bye rounds coverage currently look like:

    11, 19, 11, 16, 14, 13 (round 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19)

I'm pretty happy with that at the moment

Well fingers crossed he pumps out some big scores then.
Made some money trading him out and he will probably become a cut price keeper if I can't afford someone like Tedesco.
Also with the titans returning back to full strength (or close enough) they should become more competitive and give him more attacking chances.
Anyways worth a gamble as need to turn the ship back around.

Nice Chewie, I need to work on round 15 .
I generally go with a keeper with good byes so quality over quantity.
Meaning they stay in my team permanently.
This also balances out my heavy trading early on haha.

    Good trades Boozy.

I held Hayne. I think he is an awesome trade in. I'd like to bring in the Warriors rookie too. But my WFB position is stacked and my halves are shit. So I just can't do it.

You seem to be chugging along nicely though.

I am 19 Trades left too but will be pretty settled now failing any major injuries etc
I feel it's about getting a final team asap as probably won't have the cash some others might (who traded in Hess/Ponga)
For the 30 or so points Cotric gives me in round 12 I hope Hayne makes this up over the next 3 weeks.

    Round 9 results

Another week another disappointment.... Haha hit them all this week, multiple HIA, Black widow playing off bench etc. Happy to have the week off and move on.

    H2H
Had the highly ranked Zazu Knights this week, happy to not cop one of his huge scores this week so at least the score line was respectable. Hope you give the comp a shake as imagine you would be in with a shout.

    Trade review
Happy with the trades coming in, while Cotric would be great to have a couple weeks of earning $$ l, I really need the cash to upgrade Lamb urgently as he has taken a nosedive.
As long as teams target him and the knights continue to get thrashed, it hurts his points and he is part of my problem with everyone owning the likes of Johnson.

    Injuries
Nothing to report here other than being super unlucky copping HIA to every second player.
Hopefully with the extra week for some there is no further issues.

    Form
Well Aubo being moved to the bench hurt so hoping this was a hangover due to his illness and will start the following week.
CWalker has missed out on attacking stats with the Rabbitohs being so poor, this hopefully will change but a slight worry.
Lamb being targeted more has hurt regarding missed tackles, will probably have to go though depending on KNiko starting as can only really upgrade the one half for now.

Anyways hoping for some luck over the next few weeks and some of my trades and POD players to start delivering again.

    Go the Kiwis !!!!!
