One vote for Hess out. Sironen seems to be in favour and his minutes are more certain I reckon.

Gotta decent chance of throwing McInnes myself. Where are we at with him and will he get back to 80? Havilli was overlooked in trials wasn't he? Or did he get named and then didn't play? Did McCrone go to hooker yesterday? I fell asleep

Most likely hooker rotation would be McInnes + McCrone (with Field also in the 17)

I expect Field to come in at some point, even if not round 1.

Why can't Ryan James be dual FRF/2RF. I might write a strongly worded email to Failhub.

yep - havili wasn't part of the charity shield in which the dragons fielded 25 odd players.

McInnes played 70 mins. was given a break at the end of the game. mccrone played hooker in that time.

As Milchow said though its hard to know if/when Field will feature in the team. On yesterdays efforts, imo he still looks a while off first grade. But the dragons just can't sit back and play Mccrone all year...

We need some more options in the 2RF... Greenwood might be a good one

Apparently Greenwood will be available for selection by the Titans in RND 1.

the bits and pieces i read earlier said he was a lock? I'm not claiming to know, I have no idea who he is. If he plays lock then the player swap makes sense because McQueen and Proctor have the second row spots at Titans.

Am I the only one who thinks field isn't guaranteed a go in first grade? He's just not that good.

I didn't think Field was that great either. He is a fair way away from first grade IMO.

quite the opposite. he was a beast in purely football terms. still hard to gauge whether it will translate to fantasy

Greenwood has played 1 game for St Helens this year, at 2nd row.

35 tackles, 45 metres, 1 offload and 1 penalty conceded

Do we think he'll keep his starting spot once Matora is back? Don't think they have any other decent props that would start ahead of him. I don't see Starling keeping a starting spot.

I would think Kennedy, Lane and Taupau are all chances at taking Winterstein's spot.

Sironen on the other and, looks to be fairly secure as a big minute 2nd rower to start the season.
