as good ol' JR would say, this is bowling-shoe ugly, but 2 points are 2 points no matter how you get them, thank god the finals are 20 weeks away.

Adam Blair is running the risk of falling into the "shit hairstyle" category.

Cant remember which weekly write up it was but Honeysett said Rein looked homeless and he wasnt wrong. Reins hair is getting worse. If he wants to compete for a crack at the NSW #9 gig in the future he will have to get a hair cut.

I don't want to pull my own chain lads but check out the first try scorer and margin. Might have to retire after that.

Their playing like shit but it's been a bloody tough draw for them.
Storm away rd 1, Sharks away rd2, Souths home(SCG) rd3, Panthers home rd4, followed by both grand finalists away.

The first part of the second half Dragons vs Broncos was about the worst football I think I've seen in a long time. And I've watched a few Warriors games recently, too!

I honestly think the Broncos need the pressure on them to hit their straps. Against a side that's not doing so well, we take the foot off the accelerator. Give us the Cowboys or similar, and everyone is on DEFCON1, and it's the game of the season.

    Just... weird...

Ben Hunt may have moved out of first gear. Had the vision to hit Milford with the grubber from half a field away, then pinned back the ears and went around and through 3 of them for the flick pass and try. Definitely not in top gear yet, but if he fires again this year, alongside Milf, who's already in the top handful form-wise, it's going to be a good season. Smile

You can see the Dragons are trying hard, but my god they're bad. If Dugan doesn't do anything they've got absolutely nothing. Widdop is in the worst form of his career, and the winger dropping the ball with the line right open, and a short time later not passing to an unmarked winger says it all really.

They really need to go back to Winfield Cup days when they would paint the in-goals red so the Dragons remember what they're aiming at. They seem to have forgotten.

Pretty good crowd for a Thursday. I thought they'd only get 25K, but got just under 30K. Since the Dragons are one of the most supported teams in QLD they probably would have got 35K+ if played on a Friday - Sunday.

Matai and Tom Turbo opposite Ashyford this week for FTS. Remember, the more you put on, the more you get back.
