    Levi/ Smithies/ Fogarty = Weekes/ Plath/ Cleary. Done.

742 for the week. I captained Grant over Hynes fuck it. 6,400th now. 3 trades up the sleeve though.

I notice the "rare" foot injury for Ponga that was "not lisfranc" is now, apparently, a "lisfranc" fracture.

Only other thing it could have been was Plantar so laugh away clowns Basketball

What are the pros and cons of Hynes or Cleary. At some point it would be good to have both. But moving in to origin, I guess there is the potential for both of them to be out? Less likely that Hynes isn't selected, but without news on Moses it's really hard to make a decision.

We'll see. I started with Thomas Mikaele and each week I've had so many other fires to put out, to do anything about it. And now for 7 rounds straight he has been No 18 (replacement player). Hope he finally gets a run.

Had a look and they've averaged more or less the same over the past 2 years. Assuming Cleary is back this week, and they're both picked for origin, Cleary plays one extra game over Hynes.

Upside is that Hynes is not a lock for origin, so that gives him the edge for my side. If he's not playing origin (or even if he only plays 1-2 games) it's probably worth bringing him in.

Honestly though, you'll only know who was better by the end of the season, and odds are they'll both dominate so maybe just be sure to have one?

This NRL Fantasy stuff is OK, but really it's kid's stuff these days. A pie and a packet of chips at the footy for winning it.

The main event is Supercoach these days. That's where the true gods of fantasy excel. $50,000 bucks first prize.

    I'm 410th now.

I might just grab Garrick too and I don't even especially need a WFB for this week.

Especially when they are in a position that is notoriously up and down. Teddy, Garrick, Marzhew all probably have more price drops in them. But they are all capable of beating breakeven on their day which means you have missed the big score. It's a fine balancing act

I've got 'em both. Fuck origin. Galvin, Strange or Plath can take their place.

Plath is a weird trade in.
560k for someone averaging 40 before he goes and scores 2 tries?

    Feels a bit chasy

I agree. It is sideways af but it was the only way I could do the other 2 trades. I need to dump a couple of raiders, get some FB cover and I talked Plath up, as well as Smithies, but I don't trust Ricky and I do, Wayne. Smithies has made some dough. Cleary is a must. Plath has the lock job to lose now. Time to make some moves. Balls

    Appreciate the breakdown.

I'm leaning towards Hynes at the moment. I'm also weighing up if I can just bulk up the bench more and if that would potentially result in better points overall for my team. The news of SJ managing his Achilles makes me nervous though, so Hynes probably is the way to go.

Yep, 5th not 7th. My bad.
Just pointing out "I'm the greatest who ever lived" doesn't quite line up with "I'm 4th out of 8 in the other comp" and come on, the "atleast I'm higher on the ladder than you" stuff... it's me. 99% of the forum are better than me. It's a low bar. :pp:

To be fair Draft is just a bit of something extra to do. I don't think people are taking it too seriously, the gloating is just a bit of extra fun as I shouldn't have won 3 titles considering the levels of people around me and coming back off hiatus to be undefeated is comical to me.

Yeah it's all in good fun. I'd be laughing all the way to the bank if I'd won as much as you and I'd be shouting it from the mountain tops.
One mod league win is enough for me. Like you say, considering the talent we're up against - I doubt I'll be winning another any time in the next decade Laughing Crying or Very sad

Hope you are well, mate! It's honestly good to have you back this year. Smile
