    Grant
    Haas, Murray, Hughes
    Aitken, Salmon

    Burbo, Cotric
    Pap, Turbo, RTS

    INT / Bench

    Weeks, Willison, Hutchison, Strange
    Shiller, Gagai, Stewart, Mikaele

Seems an easier approach than trying to decide between the multitude of mid rangers out there.

I think you are missing too much playable value in missing all of Wong, Tupoinua, Piakura and relying on guys like Willison in your 17, who probably gets 15-20 minutes.

Weekes and Strange won't both get a role. Schiller probably makes way for Kris. Stewart won't make the team, Rapana will be fullback. Gagai is likely a short term option, maybe 1-3 weeks. Burbo low job security too.

Too many potential issues to handle in the first few weeks.

ynot wrote:Mikaele needs 30 minutes to be worth it. How do we see the rotation with Hess out?

    Based loosely on last season:

    McLean 40
    Robson 80
    Lolo 50
    Nanai 80
    Luki 65
    Cotter 60

    Neame 40
    Granville 30
    McIntyre 15

Leaves Mikaele with 20, unless he grabs some minutes from Neame/Granville.

If Luki is playing 80, McIntyre steals some minutes too and McIntyre could hop into the middle rotation too.

As much as the coach loves Granville, you would hope he can see what bringing on Mikaele does for impact, like we saw in both trials.

Neame and Mikaele are the only props.

If Neame gets the flip side of McLean minutes and Mikaele gets Lolos remainder, with Granville coming on at lock and covering any injuries in the backs.

Will likely regret my decision come round 2.

How many of Weekes, Strange,  Schiller, Cotric do you expect get named in any given week.

If Eels do end up playing 2 Hookers, Thats a good sign for 80 min HopGOD, Alternatively a 4 forward bench or 3 with a Utility could be a sign for a 60 minute HopGOD. Any stats on Hopgood less then 65 minutes games?

If curran starts id probably just flick luki

Yeah finding a 500kish MID or EDG to punt to make way for Curran is not really a concern

Currently I've got Tatola, Luki, Fleg

Don't even have to get creative and downgrade elsewhere to make cash for it.

Does make me think my team is a bit too middie

    Rule of 7 (7 guns, 7 mids, 7 cows) has become a 6-9-6 formation.

Don't like running Flanno and bench is light as fuck but Haas and Hoppo looks amazing.

Lussick to Levi & Flanno to Rapana and you've got yourself the Raiders potential spine lol!

But honestly, not sure about Cotric but could trade to anyone else come TLT2.

Yes I agree definitely there are some big holes in my plan! I'm likely missing out on some valuable mid rangers, and some of the cashies will definitely be failures...

Currently on a 6-8-7 Id say good enough. If Papy is considered a keeper tho im a perfect 7-7-7

I'm not a big fan of Fogarty. But I also think running Cleary, Hutchison, Flanagan as your only halves is not a good idea.

Don't think those cheapies are good enough rely on.

It also makes it hard to grab guys like Schuster and Campbell when they are starting. Having a couple of failed mid rangers can provide decent trade fodder.

Tatola locks first game, so not really a TLT2 downgrade option. Fleg with the early bye could be easier to punt.

I'm a solid 5-10-6 if we call Foggy a gun.

I actually fully agree. The only other half I would really want to run is Moses though. Im 50/50 on Fog.
