Any love for an increased role for Leota this year? Most likely value elsewhere but I keep finding him in my 17. He's not ideal, but with the Pamfa stocks being re-arranged and Leinu off to the chooks, you'd think his seniority + experience = additional minutes?

He and JFH do their jobs so we'll it doesn't really make much sense to change them?

Henry is the guy in the Panthers pack of interest to me. Cheap, high PPM, going to be the next Hopgood.

As in a Panthers forward who has to move somewhere else because he can't get in the side?

Don't get ahead of yourself, Henry looks a like a good player but I can't imagine he'll be particularly relevant in fantasy terms in that Penrith pack.

Even legendary PPM god Leniu couldn't do that.

Henry is like Smith and Hopgood, averages 60+ in NSW cup. If he gets the Leniu minutes, he makes a lot of cash.

Would that be Leniu minutes in his rookie year where he averaged 23 minutes, or Leniu minutes in his second year where he had a consistent role, played a lot more games for a 20 minute average?

There’s quite a bit of talk on Penisini as the underpriced “gun” CTR to look at given he tanked without Moses

CTR is really difficult to fill, having a glance there’s around 13 400k+ CTRs who might not even start

Might just look at Holmes/Staggs/Koula just because they don’t have a bye before Origin even if they’re probably overpriced

The better comparison is Smith's season just gone, where he got an average of 40 minutes. He is a much more similar player, capable of big minutes.

Leniu's 33 minutes would give him an average around 35 points this season.

Could look at Garrick too. In his only game at CTR with Turbo in the team, he scored 104. Upside of kicking goals as well.

JWH is fair enough, I think. He was taking the piss going for it. Kris though had a letter from the Maori saying he'd be selected? Doesn't really matter that he hadn't played before. While Wighton had very publicly retired from rep footy until he reversed that last week. Whole thing is a bit of a shambles though.

Suallii if he gets the wing and is goalkicking (look at his late season stats from 2023). Hammer (annoying early bye). Crichton if he's fullback. Lomax ditto. Looking at a few expensive DPP centres this year if the cheapies don't get a run, but all of them have caveats.

Lindsay Smith? I think Lindsay Smith will probably get Lindsay Smith's role.

I agree, Smith will get Smiths role.

The question was which season of Leniu's minutes would Henry get, but the comparison isn't a small minute impact player's first full season, it is guys like Smith and Hopgood who are similar to Henry.

Idk how the Penrith bench will work this year. They've lost Salmon and Leniu. Some talk that Alamoti is training in the pack maybe taking the Salmon role? Do they carry a hooker? Or Peachey as utility and three other forwards. Will Martin or Sorenson play a bit of middle with Garner on the bench? Lot of unknowns (other than LSmith being there)

Never seen Henry play, so don't know the Hopgood comparison, but Hopgood played 7 games off the bench for Penrith and averaged 26. Henry is priced at 23, so seems pretty much spot on unless eg Smith gets an injury.

Hopgood averaged 34 minutes in 2021 and 37 minutes in 2022, in line with my expectation for Henry at 33.

The big difference is the PPM. Henry scored at 1.1 in just 23 minutes last season and keeps that up in reserve grade with much bigger minutes - 62 points in 58 minute average last season.

If we assume it’s a matter of when and not if Turbo gets injured I wonder if Garrick or Koula is now the backup FB after Koula last 2 games

The 104 for Garrick clearly looks like outlier with his other 20s scores at CTR
