Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Not sure we would see both Mann and Taaffe on the bench. Mann is very versatile as a utility, in case there is an injury anywhere on the field, we have seen him play Fullback, CTR, EDG, HLF, HOK, MID. No need to have Taaffe there as well, when Mann covers both positions that he plays.

Salmon is a bigger body that can play in the forwards if needed, similar to how they used Okunbor last season.

Mann at LOCK, Knight to the BENCH - Curran at PROP

Tino averaged 62 minutes last season and is the captain. I can't see him dropping minutes this year. If playing lock for Des, he could easily have an increase in minutes, closer to 80.

Yeah 50 seemed a bit light, bumped it to 55. I think though with Fermor coming back playing 80 (whereas Klaas/Stimson often didn’t play 80), Tino won’t need to step up his minutes too much. He’ll likely be the beneficiary whenever backs go down and/or HIAs are called. Keep in mind that all these players will average more minutes than the rotation here suggests for this reason. Think of 55 mins as his minimum every week; his secure role that you can rely on week in-week out as a fantasy coach. This could all change though if Randall is named, hinting that Verrills doesn’t play 80. Then Tino’d probably play closer to 80 for sure

    Parramatta Eels

    Campbell-Gillard 50
    Lussick 50
    Paulo 50
    Lane 80
    B Cartwright 80
    Hopgood 60

    Hands 30
    Matterson 45
    Ofahengaue 20
    Greig 15

After a stop-start season last year, Shaun Lane is a decent shout here. Priced 11 points under his 2022 average of 52 where he went on a post-Origin tear, a return to form would be highly lucrative. The gangly backrower didn’t even score many tries that year. Food for thought.

The hooking role is still up in the air with neither Lussick nor Hands screaming much value as long as the other is on the bench.

Be very surprised if Bryce retains a starting spot this year

My favourite thread of the year !!!

Never under estimate the impact of a forward playing bugga all minutes !!

On a side note Lussick and Hands wont share minutes. Arthurs has come out and said he's not one to carry a specialist hooker on the bench so expect 80 minutes from either depending on who is picked based on pre season form.

Whys that? He's coming off a career year and the coach backed him to start even with both Matto and Lane back last season (Rounds 19-21 and 26). I can see reduced minutes with Tuilagi pushing for some Edge minutes off the bench but would be surprised not to see Carty starting.
