It's my 2nd season of FPL, doinģ better than my first season. Can't wait for a game week where all the stars line up, so far it's been pretty average, not bad, but not good either

Did an autofill team today and was pleasantly surprised by how good the team looked bar the bench.
Wong will probably be a popular pick.
The big question is, do I start with the Cheese 🧀  again after last season's roller-coaster?

Damn wish I'd know there was a Fanatics FPL league.

Feels good to have an NRL Fantasy team to tinker with Basketball

He’s going to be playing outside Ben Trbojevic in NSW cup?

I think by the way you could still join NRLFF FPL league, code is probably somewhere in early pages of the thread.

I'll be surprised if Wong starts ahead of any of Crichton, Tupouniua, Butcher and Butcher. Might be 5th choice EDG?

Depends whether Angus is back to being the player he was. If not, he'll probably be on the bench. Wong is the coming force. Sitili odd man out (though there'll be plenty of injuries over season). Egan surplus.

    Wong

Is most likely imo. JWH might be on bench this year though .Good pack anyway.

Don't mean to harp on it, but anyone know the word on the Jordan Pereira situation? I can only imagine it's a glitch, but is it possible for this to go un-noticed by everyone before they hit the 'GO LIVE' button? I noticed it within the first three seconds of scrolling through the players so I can't believe it was well concealed.

Or am I missing something obvious? I have to confess I haven't looked at NRL.com since the Grand Final, but I doubt I am living in a twilight zone where there's a valid reason that Jordan Pereira is priced at 668K on purpose. But am I missing something grand?

Elsewhere, I filled in a team. As futile a futile action as one could undertake at this point in time, but fun just to get the juices flowing again, I guess. Must confess that not too much really leapt out at me, scrolling through the players. And the cheapies are obviously a complete dartboard throw at this point in time.

If I had to single out the most interesting players, for me personally, without knowing any recent inside NRL info, the few players I found most interesting were Flegler, Curran and Sezer (bit shit that he starts with the bye, though). Hardly a mind-bending hit list, though.

I think regardless there'll be a Roosters edge that will be value (Wong/Angus/Sitili) and is auto pick for everyone. And hopefully not a repeat of EButcher 2023 lol

Yes, agreed. The fact that it's one of the Vegas games so everyone knows who'll suit up where will also be a factor.

It’s not a glitch, maybe some sort of oversight or lack of care, pretty sure he’s actually priced at his 2023 average, only thing is that he played 1 game for 50 points, and where as most with a small sample size were given some sort of discount, for whatever reason they’ve left his alone.

That’s bonkas and E. Butcher, Sitili and Sandon can’t make it. One of Tupou or Smith will be left out in the backs too…..

The roosters the dragons could literally swap squads, rhino could list out the updated 'best 17', and rabbits would still be here going 'man thats bonkas, and dan russell, BMM, and ramsey cant make the side'

Can only imagine how much of the cap was spent on superstar first graders like Wong and May who have about 30 games between them. Must have spent a boatload on Watson as well who hadn't played in over 400 days when his contract expired

Tbf to Rabbits ain’t many teams with players the quality of Sitili and Eutcher outside their best 17

Both would probably be top 5 players at the Dragons. Current top 5:

    1. Ben Hostage
    2. Lomax, even tho likely moved to FB in desperation. Will make a 2nd position he’s better than Campbell Graham at tho
    3. sua?
    4. Liddle if games only went 60 mins?
    5. ????

Conversely you could send Egan Butcher to the Tigers/Dragons/Dogs and he'd just suck (at least comparatively), because what makes him good is the fact that the Roosters are a well coached/drilled outfit and he can play a part in that, rather than because he is supremely talented.
