Re: Bundy Mixer
Currently going Ali/Gagai (B)/Tonegato
Tricky trying to decide who to slot in out of SJ/Gagai/Ponga
Currently think Gagai is the best value with Tonegato and Ali much more likely to match the scores of Ponga and SJ but it is very scary though.

Re: Bundy Mixer
In the battle of Hale vs Taufa, the correct answer was Brill

Re: Bundy Mixer
Sharks 7 tries in 40 mins, Tonegato zero involvement
Eels getting more cooked than I am in the sun watching
Picked the WFB vs Eels, 17 tries in 2 weeks for 1 try involvement

Re: Bundy Mixer
Weird trend, I think Upton had a mid 40s against the Eels and Pelite the same last week.

Looks like Eels concede a lot to CTRs at a glance

Just a case of picking the right one.
I did have some concerns that if the Eels gave up points to easily, there might not be much for tonegato to do.
Next year I'm picking a NRLW fullback and not pivoting unless she's out

Re: Bundy Mixer
Boosting Hale and going Tonegato cost me. Munster, Grant, Tohu and Kelly shining lights.
Up from 38th to 32nd though.
Next week is interesting whether to go cookie cutter…
Grant
Hale
Tohu
Cleary
Kelly
Upton/Pelite
Or whether to risk it and go
Brill
Haas/Yeo
Tohu
Cleary
Kelly
Upton/Pelite

Yeah, not going to be a heap of variance this week.
Off the top of my head:
HOK: Grant. Brill might go large again, but the recency bias will catch out a bunch. Egan might be the 2nd best option.
MID: Probably the most interesting position. Hale, Yeo, Haas, Carrigan, Boyle. Maybe in that order?
EDG: Almost has to be Harris. Kernick/Clydesdale the best W options but they struggle to crack 50. Maybe a Panthers edge?
HLF: Cleary. SJ, Munster, maybe Hughes for fun. Brigginshaw best W option, but will be a tough match up.
CTR: Kelly! Sergis/Hufanga probably next best for variance.
WFB: Upton/Pelite. Walsh is probably the most fun option.
Hoping updates bump me up into 3rd, but we'll see. Then just hang on to top 5 for some $$$.

@Rabbits21; @ynot is definitely the person to ask
I've made tactical selections, but without as anywhere near as much knowledge as I would like - ynot seems to have a much better understanding of the game (as well as a great rank!).
A learning from last year where I was third going into the last week is that it forced me into either just settling for where I am, or going for a low percentage play against a popular favourite (Centre seemed the best dice roll, - in the hope it could boost me to first).
I went for the low-percentage play and while it only dropped me to 6th, it did make me think that the semi-final week is the better week to make a big move if you're going to do it.
There's a pretty clear cookie-cutter team this week;
Grant, Hale, Harris, Cleary, Kelly, Upton
But there are much more options across the 8 teams this week then there will be across the 4 teams of next week

Interesting. I will most likely play this week with a straight bat. But we'll see how we go.

I probably will too, or maybe I'll slightly open the face and run it down to third man
It's good to see Destiny Brill is now a HOK (pretty sure she was a MID every other week)

Yeah it is good, she's more highly owned than Grant which is interesting.
It looks like teams are trying to squeeze in Haas/Walsh/Yeo.
I guess it's not too far fetched that Grant scores a 40, which Brill can match. But I don't feel like any of the above three have much upside over Hale or Upton/Pelite that it's worth it.
I think if I do open the face it would be Pelite over Upton to follow my strategy of going lower ownership on similar players, but Pelite's record against good teams is not great.
Kelly boost might be an option? Hale's floor just seems too high though in a tight game.
Clydsdale's numbers are a bit better than I thought, but still not quite there.

Most of Clydsdale's numbers are decent, it's just that floor in the 20's that's a problem.
She's fine when tries are base.
Penrith are a tough opponent to score good fantasy points against, and with Grant seemingly only getting 60 minutes it brings a 45-50 minute Brill into the conversation.
It's pretty hard to look past Georgia Hale (despite a season-low 39 against the Roosters last time), and it's questionable if Haas/Yeo even have any upside. Yeo is going to give you 55-65 which is solid if not spectacular, I guess Haas is capable of putting out an 80 pointer - probably the only one I'd consider doing it for (but then I'm maybe Captaining an NRLW back)

Went with
Davis
Hale B
Tohu
Cleary B
Kelly
To’o
Purely going for weekly win given my rank so wondering if I should switch anything up. Probably would be Haas and Kernick if anything

Looks like Brill over Grant was the right way.
I was tempted to go with To'o, but went conservative - hats off to you
