45 is a pretty good score though. Halves need a good forward pack and most of the Titans pack (Tino, Fifi, Mofo) playing origin, not to mention Brimson. It's a tough call, and I don't normally go for the safe option. But 45 is the safe option. But every bye player seems to be scoring their ceiling this week, so there's that.

aye bit of a first world problem,

i somehow have 7 players in parra vs NZ tomorow, so depending on how that goes I'll either want to gamble or take the easy points,

    will decide after that

Good luck mate. Slow start to the round for me with only 5 played. 7 to come though...

Im think boyd, he averages fractionally more, his lowest day wouldn't be disasterous and there is upside on his very good days,

    flawed logic? Greedy?

Boyd has scored under 40 just three times all year and once since round 3.

Would you be more annoyed if Boyd scored 65 and you missed out or if he scored 41 and you sell yourself a couple of points short?

    I'd play Boyd I reckon.

Quiet day huh, I’ll chuck this here

Would you do Penisini or Averillo this week? The obvious differences are Penisini gives me a keeper but Averillo gives me more money (802k vs 572k) to spend next week. Bula will become Fifita next week so it will leave me with this.

    Penisini/Averillo, Lemmy (Te Whare, Simonsson)
Teddy, Ponga, Manu (Te Whare, Simonsson)

    Thoughts guys?

I'd just run Te Whare as your starting CTR.

Simonsson and Manu Dual is plenty of cover, allows you to focus on getting in more potential keepers in less volatile positions.

Reuben Cotter is cheaper than Penis for example.

Need to make two transfers this week for 13 so Te Whare is one coming in. Need a WFB/CTR to add to him

I think you are better off getting a gun WFB rather than using gun funds on a centre in Penis this week. So I'd say Avo this week and then you could do Simo to Garrick next week

I’ve grown quite fond of Simo and his try scoring feats. But yeah get ya 100%, even if Penisini is a keeper bringing in CTRs makes me queezy

Do you have to have 13? Not sure I can be bothered using a trade just for 13

That’s an option, but with 7 trades coming into the week I may aswell do something for some extra points

Yeah It's just that you can comfortably run Manu + Null/Simo at centre. Using Manu at WFB seems like a waste.

Could be Null that you sell instead if you wanted, but Simo will stop scoring doubles at some point, either way one of them would be surplus to requirements so turning them into a gun WFB makes sense.

Do we think Bateman will get MID dual? Started a couple of games at lock, moved into the middle plenty of times throughout the season...

Guess it depends on whether the person deciding has him Laughing

    I'd see it as two options;

1/ You have 14.5 mil in team and squad value, so cash down to Munro and use the cash next week maximise value across your 17/18

2/ You have 15 trades left this season, So go for the biggest points benefit potential keeper WFB/CTR guy you can get.
I dare say that's probably Isaako.
Unlike Penisini he has added value in GK's, more MG and like Penisini is in a team that does well at scoring points.
Unlike Averillo, he's not fantasy mud (Averillo looks a talent, but right now, he kind've is just that if we're being honest).
Then next week look to cash down someone to the best base price player you can grab, and upgrade someone else in your team.

I'd probably go option 2 in your position

Damn you just made me look and see if I could juggle stuff around to still get Isaako

    I can’t, sadly

I also have slightly less trades than LB tho

Hoping the Penis can rise to half the heights of Lomax and Timoko

Actually think your last line is true

He probably has more case than Matto getting dual, and he did
