Is that enough over the additonal points scoring of Manu?

Do you need a centre this week cause then it would have to be Manu

    WWYD

Initial plan for the week was Crossland to Cook and ideally I still want to do that but wouldn't leave me any option to cover centre aside from trading Burbo to Talau and I do not want to do that if I can help it.

    Robson
    Horsburgh, Haas, Stone
    Preston, Hosking
    Cleary, Hynes
    Manu, Bird
    Tedesco, Drinkwater, Bula

    debelin, Metcalf, HEdwards, Ponga

    Oloapu, Crossland, Hopgood, BTurbo

    $294k in the kitty.

Haven't given it much thought, does seem a bit meh but with Cheese not back till Round 20 - Could have some value.

That 120k net profit is quite nice.

Halfway through that Knights game, I wanted to rage trade the fuck out of Crossland. He's terrible. He got lucky with his try, and lucky with his minutes (probably played 80 because of the Fitzgibbon injury). He's a trade....

BUT, his score of 50 has lowered his BE which even Lord Crossland can't undo this week. Trading in Turpin is gross. Holding Crossland is gross. I think I'm going to save a trade and stick with my current gross guy. Only caveat is if I need to sell to field 17 this week.

Thanks for that,I’m guessing you mean 15 though as Cook misses 16?

I mean missing Robson in tound 15 is a non origin week so he's easy to cover. Running Robson and Cook covers the next two big bye rounds.

Answered your own question - good coverage (best coverage if you already have Cook) and has bottomed out
Best of all worlds I guess.
He makes a lot more sense for me as a partner to JMK, as opposed to bringing in Turpin. Not sold on his performance in limited minutes with Hutchison lurking on the bench.

This is true, but Hunt was always playing origin.
Having a dummy spit over the coach could’ve put that in jeopardy.

Since Hook left he has been rested both before and during games.
Any chance there’s more to the story?

Has had like 3 ACL reconstructions in career and a recent meniscus clean out in off-season so I would say there’s no bullshit to the injury

Probably just have to ditch Bird if you want to do Crossland to Cook still.

Crossland to Cook and Bird to Null (I know its a lot of cash to stump up for him now) or if you want a rd16 number maybe Ramien?

I don’t have insider info as a Dragons fan, but I think it’s legit knee injury and not some tantrum

He had meniscus surgery in the off season. It may/may not be on the same knee as the 3 ACLs. NRL Physio podcast said he had loads of reports from the Dolphins game that Bird did get the full range of tests on his knee when he went off. It wasn’t a standard benching. He thinks it’s likely a load management issue with a worn out knee.

So hopefully the plan is Bird takes a few weeks for it to settle, and then they manage his load at training so he can play games at 100% or near enough

I’m not doubting the knee soreness, and I know he suffers with rheumatoid arthritis (as do I).
It only seems to have become more of a problem the last few weeks.

I am personally not a fan of trading someone in on a bye round but that’s because I got burnt a couple of years ago.

Traded Lyon in on a bye round then the week of him playing he did his knee at training and had to be traded out so.. I used two trades on a player that played exactly 0 minutes for me

But is Reynolds at 650k a good buy for a H2H player?

56 average when you take out his injury game.

Bye in finals is a pain but looking at a value premo and Tohu Arey and Bateman are the 3 that standout. in the 600-700k range.

Bringing him in this week for my h2h team mate. Good buy imo with good byes.

Thanks, bud! Yeah agree now that Bird is a trade. Didn't factor in his bye so he could miss the next three weeks straight and too much $ sitting on the sidelines for that long.
Ramien and Talakai leading choices so far.
