I think he'll do much more damage running out wide. We all know how well he can break a tackle so I think last week was the start of something good.

I started with him so Im very happy with those two big runs Very Happy

Might as well punt on the big upside players early. That's why I went with Leilua...

Lisone's got a shoulder injury, so out this week (at least). Ayshford got knocked out last week and Manu left the field last week with a rib injury, so looking like Wright/Hurrell are covering them.

Though hoping to see Ayshford/Robson dropped, they offered very little in the past 2 weeks.

I was going to give him another week or two, but just need the funds to upgrade to teddy.

Mitchell because FB and ball hog, will do well.
Barba against a struggling Manly side, will do well.
Mansour against Kahu/Roberts busting tackles and scoring tries, will do well.

Gordon against a gun Bulldogs side, will not do well.

Ranked 26,500 atm but really keen to see how my strategy works. it's basically to hold off on trades now for 2-3 weeks when I'll really, really want to and wait for guys like sj, rts, semirad and the like to bleed cash and bring them in.

one trade I have to make though is someone in for nathan green. thoughts on who the best wfb or ctr cashie is to bring in? I currently have this as my backs:

    aubs green, kauva benry
    mitchell barba gordon feeney guth

I was thinking Scott now with Slater out for most of the season according to reports?
Nathan Davis - Unsure on Zillman coming back?
    HHunt - missed the boat?
Holland - poor job sec (named on bench with stanley back)?
Pat Mat - worried about job sec and may have missed the boat a little bit?

I'll bring Hurrell as soon as he's named as a massive risk/reward pick

If you consider Pat Matautia as a boat, then he is a 6 foot tinny with no outboard and just the one oar.

Im all about that big risk for the reward. That's why week one I captained Johnson.

I might be an idiot, but it paid off Razz

Dugan has a BE of 73, Im hoping he'll bomb this week and I can pick him up on the cheap in rd 4.

IF LAM can get minutes, he'll go good. Pray for minutes.

It's only one week's improvement but personally I'm keeping a close eye on Hoppa.

I was a massive LAM advocater in the pre season but he just isn't getting the minutes, Whitehead looks like he is about to breakout and Dugan is one of a handful of players who can match his massive BE....I will likely wait on Dugan though because of that hamstring twinge he had on the weekend

My biggest concern is with all the cash cows is making sure I can milk them all at the right time. With so many in there they might all fatten up at the same time leaving some to potentially bleed some cash before I get the chance to trade them.

I know. You were one of the guys who convinced me to pick him.

I have no idea what to do with my second trade, but I do need to do something. If you're convinced of Whitehead Ill back him

    With that in mind:

Green --> Scott or LAM --> Whitehead?

With Whitehead someone said that they weren't sure he would have made all those tackles without Fensom there and Soli making a ridiculous amount of decoy runs. Could backfire to bring him in now that Fenno is back and its about 3 or 4 more weeks till Ballhog Austin comes back.

Whitehead is a big chance to make some much hoped for attacking stats against the Knights.
Dugan definitely twinged a muscle, but it was his heart not hamstring. Watch it mysteriously flair up if the bunnies role over the top of them (here's hoping)

Apologies mate are you sure you want to follow me down another potential winding road of mid ranger hell with Whitehead Laughing

Both those trades are something I'm considering, banks me $139,000 in the kitty but means i would have to choose between Scott and Gutherson for a CTR spot each week until they mature

Week 1 Feno made 40 tackles in 50min, Soli made a fair few as well that game. Whitehead still made 37.
Edit: One of the biggest differences between his score with and without Feno was that he missed 3 less tackles (-6) the 2nd week. Something that I wouldn't attribute to the lack of Feno.
