Reasoning is that if I only want to sell one Origin player (since I have so few trades left), I would rather wait and see if any of my Origin players get injured in game one so that they can be sold instead of Haas.

Also, waiting until next week means it's easier to get someone who plays both of the remaining big byes (Bateman, Ipap, D Edwards etc.), while I already have plenty of firepower this week (Tohu, Hopgood, SJ etc.)

I will look to pick Haas up again post origin (hopefully at adecent discount) however think there are other mids that do the job of Carrigan. As others have pointed out, Carrigan needs big mins for the uuuge scores, and chances are his minutes are managed heading into finals.
