I’m thinking/hoping that Manly turn the corner soon.
He’s solid defensively, he can make a break and he goes looking for work.

Yeah I mean pre Milford I’d have happily taken the punt. Just not sure what he offers with Milford on the park. Ahh well whatever way I go I’m sure it won’t be something I look at end of season and go damn

Yeah that extra 1 makes quite the difference haha.

I’ve lost 2500 ranks on live rankings but all is good

Yea we still don't know what the plan is with Milford, it's pretty weird really. Hard to imagine a straight halves sub. Maybe Niko plays some hooker and JMK gets a rest but I sure hope not as a JMK owner.

I have the luxury of making zero lineup decisions as I only have 17 green dots  Beer

Seems as though I missed some ripping footy last night.

Had a 21st last might and missed the Bird news - got the injury notification at halftime on my phone  Neutral

Only 16 this week but don't think it is the end of the world as I already have Lemmy, Manu & Bird. If I was to chase 17 this week would of for sure brought in BSmith but for the sake of 19 points and a trade - think I dodged a bullet.

Cheese very disappointing and will make way next week for Robson/JMK.

Teddy winding back the clock with his performance, not a great sight to see as a QLDer fan!

    Anyway 5/422 (C) isn't looking to bad.

    Have a great weekend all!

Can't see his rank dropping with a score of 702 so far. I think drop means his rank went from 19600 to 11000.

Yep much confusion last night with this statement. 9 for 709 is gr8 and he says poo!

    Oy centre whisperer.

Any recs amongst those yet to play

I’m leaning Koula now. Priced at his average, but no tries yet, good floor, DPP

I'm trying to work out if I should trade out Holmes across the Origin period.

Koula if Ur OK with 35's i guess. Be gud if Tracey replaced Talakai long term

Taking a lot of willpower to not just do Talau/Burbo since I will be getting the EMG centre score but I was really happy to only do one trade this week so I will stick to it. Greigs score was really helpful for me this week and I am doing relatively well at 437/6 so will just hold I think. Maybe I will rethink once I see what Captain Hynes gets.

Well below average this week at 462/7(C) (510 par on YAFSS). Bit of good and bad this round, playing both B.Smith’s seems to be the cost of saving trades this week. Fingers crossed Hopgood doesn’t make Origin to compound things even further.

Need big performances from Hynes, Fifita and Horse, as well as my rookie halves.

Even though it’s turning into a down round for myself, it’s great to see so many Fanatics BOOMING!

54 minutes for Tatola looks pretty nice. Taaffe unused off the bench and Burgess not back, but good to see. 50+ minutes should hold through the Origin period and that should be enough for 50ish points.

A lot of guns have played so far this round (DeBelin, Hopgood, Teddy, Haas, Carrigan, Murray, Cook, Latrell, Cleary etc) so I wouldn't be surprised if most have a big chunk of midrangers left. With Hynes, Fifita, and Horse as still big guns to play, you can definitely claw back ranks.

As an example I have Horse, but compared to your Hynes and Fifita, I have Katoa and Cotter.

That's pretty much it. Good price if you need a quality centre and looking quite dangerous. Good byes.

I've started pretty well (only BSmith to be annoyed about) with 582/8C but my big guns have all played. My remaining players are:

    Robson
    Cotter
    Katoa
    Alamoti Lemuelu
    Miller Bula
    Horse Boyd

With only realistically Horse capable of a reliable 50+. The rest of the team can definitely do it, but individually isn't super likely, so I'm tempering expectations.

Would be good if they all did super well though...

That’s a good point, hopefully sees the ship righted somewhat.
This comp ain’t gonna be won or lost in a single week, so key is to just stay relevant.

Silver lining with the Cheese injury is that it should be much easier to field a full 13 for round 13. Can figure out my Round 16 Hooker problems later.
