Well here we are once more Game Day once again is upon us and tonight it’s an enormous occasion a blockbuster as we take on a big rival of ours the Storm. They are indeed a massive bogey side of ours having won 9 of the last 10 against us I think it is and winning 32 of 38 games against us. It defs is a hoodoo. The good thing is we aren’t playing them down in Melbourne but still it’s gonna take an enormous effort to beat them tonight. We need to get into our heads we are going into war out there tonight and for the boys to do dig deep for one another and we can do it. I’m sick of losing to these pricks fully over it and I’m so pumped up as I’m sure the boys will be too. We have been close to them in many games but at the death we haven’t been clinical enough to get it done let’s turn that tonight. And of course it’s magic round so we wanna light it up as do all teams! We have had a very tough start with our draw to the year but still we can’t rest on our laurels every game is critical if you wanna be a top 4 or top 2 side and we will lose quite a few boys to origin so getting as many wins now as we can is vital. Whilst we are 6 and 3 wouldn’t it be great to go 7 and 3.
For the Storm we all know they have big threats all over the park in Munster, Grant, Hughes, and a big strong pack and they get NAS back tonight as well. They will play smart clinical footy as they often do and look to win the big moments. We cannot afford to lapse in defence or concentration as they will make you pay big time. I’m sick of Munster and Grant braining it against us. We need to try shut those two done as best as we can but also be aware of their other threats as I said.
For us we need to start well our starts still have been a bit of an issue we can’t afford to start slow. We need to win that battle in the middle and be patient in attack. Make sure we aren’t making cheap errors and giving penalties away out of yardage. Stopping the offload will be key as well. I feel our spine really needs to stand up that’s where we lost it last time we played the Storm a few weeks ago so come on Trell, Cody, Lachy and Coolie let’s turn that around let’s not drop both games to these guys this year. Let’s want it more than them tonight let’s run harder and tackle harder. It’s gonna have a finals type atmosphere tonight and to beat them we are gonna have to tread through water at times and dig very deep but I know our boys can do it.
To those who made the trip up leave nothing in the tank I’m sure we will be hearing that South Sydney chant around Suncorp once again like last week.
Also what an occasion tonight made even bigger by the fact it’s AJ’s 200th. I’m so proud of him it’s a massive effort to get to 200 games and all for us for South Sydney what a player and finisher he has been over the years and I feel he has plenty more in him. He’s due a try or 2 as well so hopefully he can cross the line tonight and get closer to the all time record. I hope it’s a special night for AJ we need to do it for him as well make it a night he won’t forget!

Kini is confirmed playing this week. Earlier talk was he would come in at fullback, if Campbell played in the halves for foran being out. Probably bad for Fifita, unless they play Boyd next to him again.

He's priced around 33 and averaged low to mid 40s past few seasons. I'm thinking he'd make a good 5th forward for the bye. Thinking next week at the earliest for me.

Of course Campbell runs before passes. But DFifi is making enough tackles to not need many runs for a solid score.

Yeah not just for Rd 13 though. Could be a decent mid-range cow with a 40+ average making around 100k. I probably can't afford a 5th bye forward gun, so he'd fit in alright.
I have my filters on 30+ min games, but from last year he's averaged 46, 40, 44 with 6 games removed under 30 mins.
