I bought him in this week past when he was named to start. Feels naughty, but like, the good kind of naughty. The hope is he can make his 150k and then be a 35 point hooker round 13.

Im a head to head player so just looking for value.

I have 514k to spend on a Centre or WFB

or I just do the 2 trades this week and hold Warbrick (means Couchman sits at 17 to replace Warbrick - Warbrick normally 18 as I also missing Haas)

Everyone holding Haas? Probably wise. But something like Haas -> JDB/Horse frees up some cash for other moves.

Perfect description, the thought of trading him in makes me think, surely I am not doing this right.

To be fair it seems to be the year of the comeback for Fantasy players, carty SJ etc.
It’s not even a comeback, he’s only had 1 season averaging over 40 and that was like 2014.

The rest he sits in between that 30-35 area*.

Lets be honest before this gets out of hand. I want to get this on the record.

Trading in PONGA is a BAD IDEA. YOU WILL ALL REGRET IT.

However, I may do it anyway.

See what my boy matty thinks.

    Katoa - Manu
    Host - Bird
    Warbrick - Bula

    1k to spare.

Quite straight foward isn't it. Or am I mad to be trading in bird at his price?

Will Wiremu Greig get an extra 20 minutes with RCG out? Might be a decent cash out ...

Just looked at what I'd do IF I were to trade out Haas...

Haas, Turbo & AKP > Hynes, Drinky and Bula (+58k extra cash)

    Team would be:

    Cook
    Carrigan, Gilbert, Cheese
    Hosking, Preston,
    Cleary, Hynes
    Manu, Hammer
    Latrell, Drinky, Miller

    SJ, Ford, Boyd, iKatoa
    Alamoti, Couchman, kNik, Bula

    It's certainly tempting.

    Definite hold mate.

We expecting Horse to keep the big minute role? I can go Uto to Horse leaving me with 0K.

    Unlikely

When Paulo was out for 2 games he got 13 and 0 extra minutes

Likely he plays ~20 minutes then Carty comes on and plays out the game

Dumb to hold CNK over Alamoti? Looks like he misses 3 of the next 4.....or something

People who haven't been saving trades will have less than 21 trades available after this week.

We'll eventually get given some more eventually, but for every trade less than 21, that is 1 player in your team that is guaranteed to hang around for 3 months.

If you trade someone in with the plan to trade them out, that's someone else in your team that is having their spot confirmed in your team.

If Haas doesn't meet the criteria for someone you'd like to keep in your team all year - who does?

Wondering if it’s worth saving trades and just playing Sele and Niko this week. Probably not ideal to play both?

    I agree.

Misses 4 NRL games in the next 8, but has to survive 6 games including 2 Origin games without getting injured to not miss more than that. Cheap for a reason.

Also worth noting that his scoring falls off a cliff at the back end of most seasons.

    Warbrick to Bula
    Turbo to Manu

3rd trade... I can't decide who to sell out of E Katoa and CNK. Some clear info on HIAs and R10 availability sure would be handy. Do you reckon Craig Bellamy hangs out here? There's often a lot of pointed advice written here for him, he'd be mad not to take it on board. And there are so many Kiwis with Fanatics accounts that someone has to be secretly working in the Warriors organisation. Probably multiple people, that's just probability. So if the alts could reveal themselves and the pertinent information ASAP, it would be much appreciated.

Seems like a good week for some in a good position to get aggressive with the trades to make some ground up. After using 2 trades, I'll be playing Katoa, Niko, Uto, Alamoti, Bula with APK my 18th man. I'm clenching my ass cheeks already.

Turbo definitely a sell? If he has to pass a fitness test, he could be out. Or even if he passes, then he's playing busted? And could be indefinitely? A couple more 25s and he loses 80k. Certainly seems a sell, anything I'm missing?
