Doesn`t give people much time to overthink their trades and pull their hair out.

Wednesday night and Thursday morning will be going off on here.

FaringdonSwirl wrote:Started the round off not too bad at 608/12c, but a few fires starting to appear now. Turbo is a must trade next week. Was hoping to hold Uto/Carty a bit longer but that's going to be tough. Haas out means I need a MID or I'm playing Couchman, and trading Uto means I need 2 of the bastards.

Have 3 Storm players, so thinking I need to trade 1-2 of them now, ideally to a MID that plays round 13 and it's pretty slim pickings:

JDB - probably the best potential but trash human that I don't want near my team.
Lawrie - Priced at his average. Has a low score in him but could do worse.

Ale - Already have 2 warriors and don't really want a 3rd before their bye in R12, but like watching him play and think there's a decent chance he holds his spot over Bunty when Barnett comes back in. That's the only threat to his spot, right? Would cause me MID issues during their bye though.
Tohu/Jazz - Too much $ to carry through their bye.

Tapine - Always thought I'd get him pre R13, but don't think it's time yet.
Horse - I think he's my preference of this bunch. Ricky scares me, but he's looked good the last 2 weeks. Can see 70 mins continuing for a ~50 average at much cheaper than Tapine.

Cheese - No R13, but think he's reasonably likely to average ~40 with the minutes he's getting lately.

Anyone else you guys would be considering?

Another budget MID option aside from Sipley is JWal
a bit of a retro pick like Carty, SJ, and Granville, but might be ok for a stopgap solution

E.Katoa to JDB could pay off. I personally want to see another week of JDB minutes but I can see the urgency to trade in your situation.

Over origin I wouldn`t sell either but if I had to it would be Grant out of thos two.
Thanks mate I feel holding 3 origin players could be ok but holding 4 won’t be.

Just not sure I can hold all of Cleary, Haas, Grant and Teddy if I get him which is likely as WFB is fucked.

Thing with Grant and Haas now is too they only play 3 of the next 5 weeks.

Well, I'm more than happy for Bender to clarify what he's referring to if it wasn't the situation with me.

He referred to that post but I don't think the point was 'as an attack' on you, more that most were happy to let it slide, which is a generalised reflection on society of picking and choosing which things to call out and which things to just be cool with.

I think it was midway through one of the night games though, and half of us were all a bit pissy and just enjoying the footy, things move quickly when the footys on. I think I actually posted that it is an interesting discussion but i was too drunk at the time to articulate anything sensible.

I mean, you acknowedged the gaff? anyway and we moved on. I know 100% you have/had no bad intention around that sort of joke but i guess, it is what it is? I guess that's why I think its an interesting discussion. But even when I'm sober I guess I'm not great at articulating things, likewise Goat Boys, english not my strong suit. That's why I stick to poking fun at meaningless things like fantasy scores.

I took a a serious look at Wallace. Has missed time in games due to injury and HIA, but to be worthwhile he has to have a career best season.

I already have 3 dolphins so it won't work for me especially with their bye coming up, I wouldn't recommend playing him in the 17 unless there is an emergency

If anyone here is an old school Blink 182 fan, they're headlining Coachella in about 15 minutes, which is livestreamed on youtube (just search coachella). Original* (tom) band back together.

*obviously travis is not the original drummer

I presume Sipley looked lively? Good numbers.

However were his minutes the last two weeks slightly inflated due to Tuilagi and Parker injuries? Bullemor covering edge for Tuilagi last week, so no mins in mid. And then I didn't see the game so not sure who but a forward must have covered 40mins at centre this week?

    He averaged 30mins last year
