That's more or less all I'm hoping for. If you can pick him up for 400-430k at some point as a high upside 18th man with handy dual he'd be hard to pass up.

Also devil's advocate but is he still a certain starter for origin with Walsh's current form?

He was man of the match in the decider last year so if fit they’d have to pick him.

Well Manu to 6 has made things more interesting. Every week I think I can hold then TLT throws something up. Need a MID. Was planning Grant + Brick to Tohu + Bird but I can now do Matto and Manu

How will it actually stop, Ponga's hia and concussion issue. I dont see it stopping, and can't see how he continues much longer. The resting and protocols sound good for a players health, but it doesn't change the damage thats locked in to his long term health every time he goes down.

Tigers coach Tim Sheens has tipped young gun Jahream Bula to challenge for the No.1 jersey in a three-way battle with incumbent Daine Laurie and star recruit Charlie Staines.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported Sheens believes Bula can leapfrog Laurie, who has also been training in the halves and Staines, who is also being considered as a winger at some stage during the 2023 season.

Jahream Bula will be a kid who comes out of nowhere,” Sheens told The Herald.

Daine has been training at halfback and fullback, ‘Stainesy’ at fullback and wing, but this kid has been playing fullback all year in the second team. And he has been the best trainer at the club.

“I’m not afraid to throw blokes in, and if they’re good enough they’re old enough.”

Laurie training at halfback give anyone worries about Wakeham when they inevitably shake things up again?

He’s like cordner at the end, slightest tap and he will be concussed again, it’s inevitable in my completely unqualified professional opinion

I’d love to be proved wrong and I’m pleased his Canada trip signified no permenant injury

Yeah I know it's TLT day, but I find this one very interesting.

You should be more worried about Wakeham not being very good, even if he keeps the spot.

I’m toying with Manu and JDB but only options would be Katoa and Preston out.

Considering it. But have been max trading and not sure if I can afford the potential risk

JDB provides me needed MID cover, plus he doesn't have a bye for a while, hoping he can pump out big mins in the middle.
I like Manu, but a potential short stint at 5/8 and a potential short stint at Fullback over the origin period doesn't appeal to me

Thought this as well, perhaps the plan is even to run with Laurie

They have been pretty clear so far they don't want Wakeham doing much/gets made the scapegoat

    Good point young Padawan

I don’t doubt Manu will score well this week, but his role probably has more question marks than JDB moving forward

TU: Kiraz to Turbo, two easy games before some hard ones and into Origin
TD: Kiraz to Garrick, same thing but would be covering at fullback during the origin period and can score some tries in the next 2 weeks
