3 more games until Talakai plays Harper too Twisted Evil
I wouldn’t be going anywhere near Lomax he’s overrated and is playing like dogshit.

Holding. Was very tempted to rage trade after that rubbish he put up on Sunday but he's still averaging 51 and is useful over the Origin period. Its all base at the mo so surely that has to change.

It’s really disappointing me that this is probably what I will end up doing

    Thank you though

Other half of it is who would you go to? The usual suspects have Origin coming. Matto is the only 1 Im considering but I can see a world where he makes Origin and are his minutes bankable?

Tohu is a good shout. Thought I was overstocked on Warriors players but only have Ford and SJ at the mo. Im 2k short of Grant+Warbrick to Matto+Bird so Tohu and Bird could work nicely. Thanks!

@Rabbits21 What are the chances of Jed Cartwright getting a decent role in Koloamatangi absence + over Origin with Murray and maybe Arrow out. I’m guessing still a no-go?

291k with CTR dual would be tasty if so

With only 9,336 points scored, I believe this was the lowest scoring full round since Round 1 2020, which would explain why so many people struggled to hit 800

Have adjusted MN in calcs up a bit to 13,500

Cowboys and Dragons pack will be interesting to see today

Plus Warriors I guess where Curran/Niukore fit

Personally I'm not getting Curran or Ale as I already have Ford/SJ/CNK, anymore and I'll be taking a hit in their bye I think

Curran has been named on the bench two weeks in a row as well, then swapped to start. Does the silly buggers continue.

Fantasy aside, he’s a better centre than Campbell Graham IMO. It’s close but he knows how to pass. If they swapped teams we’d have very different opinions of both

Niakore will keep his spot, he was solid there and we were looking great. Curran impact for his running lines off the bench i'd say

Yeah he’s gone from a borderline top 5 goalkicker to borderline bottom 5 over the offseason.

But I think he’s playing better than most of last year. Like Campbell still very young just been around forever.

The thing I like is, with centres it starts in defence, and he rarely gets caught out despite playing with some pretty inexperienced wingers outside (Rava was a liability when he started and now Feagai is a rookie)

Very keen to see the Eels lineup today. I hope with Hodgo back, they revert back to their 1-17 from last week and there's a few disgruntled Carty traders!! haha.

Plenty of watch list players this week too... big fan of TPJ as my rule this year is to transfer main players that I enjoy watching, and he definitely fits the bill much better than Carrigan! plus DPP and unlikely origin.

    Fizz up lads!

Yeah will Bird be on the EDG, JDB at lock again?
Where is granny going to fit in?

Also, who's playing where with Ponga back at the Knights.... Crossland 9, Mann 13, Gamble 14?

Honestly feel like the knights go backwards when they add ponga in the halves and with Miller's form I'm not even sure ponga makes a positive difference returning to fullback.

For those thinking of selling Tapine: Is he really going that bad?

    2022:  Averaged 55.3 points in 50.7mins (1.09ppm)
2023: Averaging 51.8 points in 49.2mins (1.05ppm).   If he kept ppm up, and played 50.7mins this year he would average 53.4

In his first 6 games of 2023, he averaged 48.3mins for 46points (0.95ppm).  In other words, he has started 2023 better than he started 2022.

Take a look at his score distribution last year and this.  Scoring <50 is not unusual.  Last year, 40% of his scores were <50.
    Tapine Score Distribution:

Ignoring the impact of minutes, comparing 2022 Vs 2023 scoring.

    > He is UP 4.9 points from bread and butter of tackles (+4.8 ), missed tackles (+0.6) and run metres (-0.5)
    > He is DOWN 2.2  points from pure attacking stats (tries etc)
    > He is DOWN 3.3 points from offloads.  Small sample size, but he is back to 2022 average in last 2 games.

PS 1:  I don't have Tapine. I held him all of 2022: nearly sold him early last year but thankfully had other fires that stopped me.
PS2: I have not seen any Raiders games, so cannot comment on the 'eye test'
