Slow start with some underwhelming performances.
Didn’t get much out of Teddy but hopefully he picks up and remains a lock in my team till seasons end.
Some serious questions to be asked about the Storm duo of Grant and Katoa..

If you've had since the beginning hes scored great!

Only the past couple weeks have been iffy, despite a 50 last week

Sharks rotations look like a committee meeting with finucane to return.

McInnes was getting 60 minutes, then got hit high by Smith and went straight off.

They had already used all their interchanges for the match.

Coach was asked if he was ok in the post match press conference and he said he was fine.

I was planning to loop in Warbrick over Ese'ese but I missed the boat on the Storm game. Looks like I am going to take a punt on Dunster to score significantly better than last weeks -2

    Yip, he has been great!
More a question of whether I pull the trigger on my Grant to Robson/JMK trade earlier than originally planned (Rd 13).

E.Katoa to a reasonably priced Frizell next week is also tempting but possibly too sideways.

Missed all of last night's chat - logged out and the Forum is on page 35, log in today and we're up to a new thread page 25. Life moves pretty quick, perhaps we should all stop to smell the roses.

    My thoughts on yesterday's games:
Bloody Cheese & E.Butcher, of course they find form once I dump them.
    Bang

    Sharks v. Roosters.
I didn't see the game. Scores are pretty high (except Teddy??)
Robbo's complaint that the ref / Bunker got the Collins try wrong seems pretty laughable and/or desperate, telling the press that "two blokes swear it was a try" when one was Collins himself and the second was Cheese ... not biased witnesses at all.
I didn't see it, but would think it's the officials job to award / deny tries, not players from a team.

    Manly v. Storm.
What a game. As a neutral (who as a Knights fan doesn't particularly like either team), I loved it.
Manly were absolutely brutal The hit on Olam was pure gold.
Storm reverted to dog-shots and deserved to lose.
Grant should have been put on report (at least) for his attempted shoulder to Olakatu's head.

    Nuff said.

@The Bludger#2 for me Manly v. Storm was hard game to watch. By end of it I was almost ready to scroll Netflix to watch something a bit interesting.

I almost puked when Yvonne Sampson called it a fitting tribute to the 'battle of Brookvale'. More like 'Drama Kings of Pines Park'

I am surprised that commentators didn't pick up on the gamesmanship shown by DCE and few other players last night.

Will be interesting to see if other teams pick up on this. We might have similar scenario like we had couple of years back with the crusher tackle.

Well trading out Loiero and Warbrick worked a treat... Bird & Couchman better make it worth it.

177/4 inflated by Nicho's score, plenty of players still to come

I wish Metcalf was fit, he would have been a great cow with the TMM injury. Apparently he is still 4 weeks away though. Looked great in the trials.

Just realized that after today's games I've only got Alamoti and Preston playing tomorrow. Hopefully can be at the pointy end today so I don't slip too far without anyone much to come
