He literally jumped in the air (both feet off the ground) and dropped his hips to drag down ITT. Injury just highlighted the fact - blatant hip drop.

Looked like Preston had his arms around the ball and was attempting a strip, rather than a tackle where they drop onto the player's legs.

It's not an uncommon strip technique, so will players get binned when successful and no one's injured?

I disagree he's attempting to rip the ball out 1 on 1. He fell on the ankle yes but making an illegal tackle was not the objective. He will get off with a fine if not win a not guilty plea.
