In my case I can sell Carty and Hammer to SJ and Niko, and still be able to reach Hynes next week (by selling Reynolds who was always intended as a stepping stone to Hynes).

Webster has got that team playing for each other and has got SJ putting in every week, when his biggest problem in the past was being a bit lazy.

I'm sure you said no trades this week last night? bounce bounce

Not sure how the multi quote thing works here, so have just opened comments up in a new tab

Bethany mentioned SJ (I think you were talking about him?) in a moon boot - I can confirm this is true! They just showed him here on the NZ news

SJ said it was all good, just precautionary for his calf because they had a flight - Was in a moon boot and looked like some kinda plaster over his knee/just below it

I'm sure he's all good to go this week though so wouldn't really worry

Yeah seems like the moon boot is legit but doesn't seem like it'll affect him on the field.

My real conundrum is whether it's worth risking getting stuck with a dud cheapie to get SJ in, or better to just leave SJ alone and bank 2 trades this week (can get Hynes next week either way)

I reckon the Doughie experiment ends this week. Wonder who will get dropped. Brookes or Wakeham

If you're going to do it, then it has to be this week (Getting SJ in) - In all honesty I don't think it's worth it unless the cheapie you can pick up is going to make money/someone you can play in the bye rounds, you dont wanna kill off a position in your team so early in the season

By the same token, SJ scoring well, but others scoring around the same anyway

Hopefully not Wakeham, he's made me 12K so far Cool Cool

Yeah I know it's now or never, more so trying to decide whether it's worth it or not.

if I trade Loiero and Carty to get SJ in, then the best cheapie I can get is Soni Luke or AKP - neither one is a must but AKP at least has a -19 BE and is super highly owned, and Soni isn't on a limited timeframe like Nikorima and Sele are.

Head says not worth it, heart says get on or get left behind.

Blore at 334k might be worth looking into? Very much a punt with how he came into the side at the last minute, won't do the blood pressure any good with the Easter Monday game either.

Does Soni Luke even get back in, Peachey was quite good and offers more positional coverage in addition to hooker

Yeah that's the question. AKP seems the better cheapie but he has no base and is reliant on attack to make anything - the BE is nice though.

I think AKP probably stays but at risk of losing his spot to Maumalo or Fifita (back from injury)

Personally, I wouldn't be confident trading in any tigers players.
