It'd be pretty pointless for the Dogs to go after King. Hire another player they have to pay and go through all the contract negotiations for a play who will play one month, maybe two or three in the top grade. They might as well have not bought Garvey at all if they did that. Just another fluff rumour methinks.

If the dogs bring King in, I suspect it would be on a small contract as cover in case Garvey goes down too.

Whether that is useful depends on how long Lichaa is injured for. if only 1 month as rumoured then not much point. But if he's gone long term and they don't trust their current 3rd string hooker, then King might be a good insurance buy.

Even if they sign King I think it's only because Lichaa might be out long term and it's just cover in case Garvey goes down.

Any major reasons Jake Friend can't keep hitting 60+?

Way safer that Garvey by the sounds of it.

The rabbits are a different team without Arey.

Half of Cody's points came from attacking stats. Arey's kicking game takes so much pressure off the forward back, and in turn frees up the backline.

Im skeptical of getting goods points out of any of the Souths players unless Cody and Keary can produce some magic.

I think friend's minutes could drop to 60 once Pearce is back, cant seem him and Nikorima being on the field at the same time. No point playing Friend at lock when they have big units on the bench.

Yep, you can wait.  Will give you a chance to look at the Rabbits and Carter's output sans AReyn as well.  I would suggest bringing in at least 1 of the potential cows this week though.

Thanks for that. I'm thinking of Bringing in Garvey for Lichaa and Inglis for Benry via Guth. So hard to know what to do with Lichaa's future uncertain. Am I close with the math on Carter?

Other option is Lichaa -> Garvey and Leuluai -> Carter and keep the cash until I know more about Lichaa. Score will suffer in the meantime though.
I know you are new to the game so have you investigated how BE's and price rises work yet mate?  If not, if you ask I'm sure the guys can explain.  But essentially, if you looks at Milchy's spreadsheet on the first page of this thread (they also reside in a stickied post at the top) then it is saying that Carter could gain around 40-50k just this week.  That is if he hits 54 and will probably tempt you to get him (and it probably should tempt you).

Hard to say after that game, but if he gets the 80 then he is a 60 point player most weeks I reckon.

So Slater has a b/e of 41 this week which I don't think he'll match so he'll bleed value. Thoughts on these trades:
    Henry out & Carter in
Slater out & J. Trbo in (via Surgess, Aubs & Ferguson)

Back to the drawing board WL.

Obviously bought Slater for a reason.

    Seems like a wasted trade

Agree with Finchy (and lukeaye's sracasm Very Happy  ) WL.  You bought in a hit and miss WFB with an injury cloud who misses a heap of games through the year even if he doesn't cop anymore injuries.  You took that massive risk for a reason.  Is there not someone else you can ditch?  SLater could go shit, or he could become a gun again, but going on Monday night I wouldn't even consider trading him.

There was some fantasy coaches from down under
Started the season with what some say a blunder
Saving money on cheap backs that were lookers
Spent up big to score with some Hookers
After going down in the 1st round now the next trade is all that they wonder

I've got Slater and while I don't like 20's he is a back so these do happen... plus it was his first game back for a long time (think May 2015) and he was in doubt pre-game... so with that in mind I think he's going to be the 40ppg player I bought him to be.

Stating the obvious here, but don't forget the only teams that are playing tomorrow is Panthers/Bulldogs. So unless you have players from those clubs, or plan in bringing in players from those clubs, you can wait an extra day.

However most of us have Lichaa and/or Segeyaro LOL.

    Basically, don't stress Smile

I have James Roberts who was just as big of a dud and starts at a higher price point. I haven't even considered trading him out. Not sure if this makes you feel any more comfortable or not.
