Cook will score 80+ just to spite my last minute swap.
Still, I'd love that given he seems reasonably low ownership.
Put the C back on him next week for a 43.
and Hopgood will go back to a 70+ score

Was that a Mattnz suggestion?

Checked the scores and chuckled to myself about Hopgood's score.....then looked at Captain DCE and he was even worse. Awesome.

I think there’s enough knowledge here for people to make their own decisions
Matt might go on and on about players, and it might frustrate most but that Hopgood captain choice was going to be based on him being the highest averaging player in the game after 2 rounds and coinciding with a Cleary bye.
Not listening to Matt

Believe it or not, some people came to the decision to captain the highest scoring player in Fantasy this year without being told to do it by mattnz

Its an easy thing to say in hindsight that Hopgood was a bad C call but it looked pretty good regardless of hyperbola. Tbh I definitely did not expect another 80 but figured a 60ish score was a reasonable ask in 65-70 mins given the way he'd been playing.
After the first two rounds, it was pretty obvious he was playing too many minutes under fatigue but I didn't think Arthur would cut him back so much this week.
I got a bit spooked about Cook against Roosters, just a gut feel that it would be one of those types of games where he only gets around 45-50

Yeah in my case I did it because I just have a bad feeling about Muz this week, that some Roosters grub will knock him out and he'll score low. Watch him score 80+ just to spite me

If I had traded Cleary to Cook this week (still technically can but I won't), I would have captained him instead.

Good work. You have now successfully convinced people you are an idiot.
Can't wait for phase 2 of your plan

I went another way because after a shit start I wanted to play gut captain roulette and go against the grain. I figured Hopgood would be the number choice after his red hot start and pivoted
Was still expecting him to get 55-60 as well mate, just know my guy is going LARGE this week

You have had a good start Beth, was the pretty standard calm going Hopgood, will be with the majority
