TU: Reed (+470k ITB for trading Hynes/Cleary back in)
TD: Grant (+300 ITB for trading hynes/Cleary back in)

Hopefully holding them for an extended period as the starting HOK.

Looking at Boyd, he appears to be a more pressing trade out than B Smith. No strong indication that he can score better than what he already is on an ongoing basis. B Smith at least has some history of scoring consisently at HOK/MID in the past

Random question. Any of you clever fellas worked out how to see the forum in dark mode? Like white text on a dark background? (On mobile I should add)

Looks like a terrible pick, needs around 45 average to get 150k

Averaged 31.5 in QLD cup with 6 tries, 5 TA in 13 games

Disagree with this, smith was touted as big minute hooker but is now an ineffective and injured mid,

Boyd had a terrible game but the role remains the same

Think long term both are trade outs but smith is more pressing and has a bye next week

If he scores a 35 or such next game it's 2 wasted trades. Too much of a gamble on him getting big score vs Warriors to generate enough cash imo

Could say and about Trindall who I got but there was outside chance Hynes out longer where Drinky definitely only 3 games

No chance Milford comes back re your earlier post? I'm thinking of getting him with low expectations

Just use him as max cashout, sit him in NPR and wait for the cash.

Not a huge concern. Bennett picks and sticks, usually, and theyre 2 from 2.

mattnz wrote:@liverpool_bulldog I agree with your trade decisions this week.

I was also meant to be fixing up my CTRs this week, but also had the the Ponga injury, plus NAS and Talau. Really pleased I dumped Cleary and Cheese last week, or my team would be in a real mess.

I think that with the byes and HIA situation, you need to try to stay on top of every injury and ideally trade out a full week ahead of a player having their bye, to avoid a situation that becomes impossible to recover from. I recall some last season playing with 14 and 15 players and this year it will be much worse.
    Cheers mate,

I don’t have too many options as far as positions go this week. So hopefully they are good trades regardless and can tackle the balance next week

Stat line... there have been 17 failed HIAs within the first two rounds. If that 1 in 32 players per round rate is consistent through the season, you should expect two HIAs in a squad of 21 every three weeks, or about 16 per season (in reality the rate is probably higher because squads are filled with starting players who spend more time on the field.)

11 days stand down is just the start. Wait until you get two concussions, it will be a month or so. Beyond that and there may be months. It'll change a lot about the game as we know it.

Is that part of the new framework, or where you expect we are headed in the future?
