My score is showing as 850 on the web and 851 on the app - all the player scores are the same, and I can't be arsed adding them up manually to see which is the right total

Hahahahah nup. Knew he'd fkn gun it after I let him go, was reported after the game that he was crook all week too and wasn't meant to play that many minutes.

Just another reason as to why I'm off to a shocker this season!

I was 20k off flicking him to DCE so I could get Trindalls score in the 17. If only the rest of the team wasn’t arse

Yeah I traded Tino for Cook, didn't turn out to well which didn't surprise me after what I've witnessed from my players this week lol

You must have missed the earlier discussion.

Especially at the start of the year under a new coach, the most recent stats are more likely to be indicative of future performance than old stats.

I did miss the discussion. However, I do know what recency bias is - and it's a flaw relevant to fantasy as much as it is economics or psychology, so if you're talking about something else maybe find a different term? Although, at the heart of it, I don't think you really are talking about something else.

Actually, yeah a different name for what Matt's talking about would be preferable. Maybe recent statistics theory. I believe that both recency bias and recent statistics theory are or can be real things, but there's a fair amount of grey between them.

These downdates nearly cost me a match-up in a cash league, would have had to sue Failhub if it ended up costing me a spot in the playoffs NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 14 - Mark Holden - Page 40 1f620

    Howdy Y'all,

My therapist says art can help so I made this:
    NRL Fantasy 2023 Rd2:

Lots of disappointments but can't say I'm terribly upset about the Garner result. Sure, 60 points would have helped, but he still got the Kikau-Capewell-Martin treatment from a few years back. Just this time after getting subbed off he'd scored 63 instead of 26.

Anywho, off to rebuild this 'le grille' of a team.

Looks like magic number for rnd 2 is/was 13698.4690

    Milch can probably confirm that.

Price rises were more than I had expected, must have been a low scoring round overall

I can go Boyd and E Butch to Cook and Garlick with 3k bank, tempted to just full send it as long as Trindall is named.

Garlick got 39 in 25 mins on the weekend, so his PPM is up there with the best, and in that he made 23 tackles without missing a single one, on a night where the Storm missed 49 tackles.
