Will throw my current team out there for an advice that you legends can give me.

    Smith
    Hass, Murray, Keppie
    Hopgood, Katoa
    Cleary, Doueihi
    HSS, Alamoti
    Turbo, TMM, Warbrick

    Boyd, Butcher, Uto, Loiero
    Talau, Doorey, Ford Katoa

    Looks pretty solid to me.
A little light on the back 5 though.
I'd drop Ford for some extra WFB/Cnt cover, just in case TMM, Warbrick, Alamoti, or HSS get injured / dropped etc.

I like watching Tino, so im letting that bias influence which way i lean on your above point

Don't think there's a lot of value, unless you think the Dogs will step up again in attack this year to get him more attacking points. Trial and recent injuries haven't inspired confidence

I think Doueihi is preferred for value, and Moses seen as the better bye friendly option

Don't let that stop you if you want him though. Every chance he goes well. This forum is certainly going to collectively overlook someone that does well this year

I think everyone got scared off after the trial. Apparently he was crook that day so he'd be a good pod to start with

I have a mental block on picking someone who isn't playing (and I don't trust Griffin not to just pick M'bye). If I was to pick a non playing WFB it would be Reece Walsh but would need solid info that he is 100% for next week.

I have 215 ITB at the moment which seems too much. Really can't figure out a way to spend it. Might possibly downgrade elsewhere and swap out Cheese for Grant.

    Looking at either Miller + I.Thompson + 75K OR taking a punt on Ponga + Talau + 38K

Personally I think, on a dud Knights team, Miller doesn't average much more than TMM but for a higher price.

Knights have as good an opening 5 rounds as you could wish for.

Plus, I have been promised numerous slapsie TBs with Miller. If he doesn't deliver I'm going to go all Karen on the manager and ask for my money back.

If you are happy with your team, save it and bring in Bird R2 (or Turbo R3)

Don't mind that idea. I currently have Warbrick in WFB3 and Talau on the bench. Perhaps I run Talau at WFB3 and swap in Sloan if Warbrick goes big..

That's fair. Although I don't see it being something we'll be thinking about tomorrow.....

I've got 243k ITB as well, but can't find any massive value in using it tbh.

Took a mental health day from work. The school openly encourages good work/life balance so they don't mind if you call in 'sick'. Pretty great of them tbh.

Vegan for the value. Your roosters are a gold mine this year. I'd be on lodge/collins too this year if it wasn't for the round 4 bye. whoever looks the best are that could be a great pick up with 55 minutes that look there for the taking

Current record for most users online is as follows
"Most users ever online was 231 on Sat Jan 07, 2023 11:56 pm"

Can we break that for kickoff tonight?

Talau and Warbrick a coin flip anyway mate. I'm probably only saying this because I have no info and seen nothing on Warbrick except a highlights video. I'll do that anyway mate. Between Thompson and Talau for me.

I've always had a stupid thing about having too many players play in the first game for some reason. It's an OCD thing from my end truthfully and really means nothing, but I hate having like 3 or 4 players. Got 4 already at the moment so 5 seems like panic stations in my mind.

You're right about very midrangey, I'd say youre a gun shy at minimum compared to most. But you have cash to jump on the better cashcows from the start. I'd just be worried about dropping too many games early from H2H standpoint.

I also agree a swap of Preston who is on the bench to Talau or Hammer would make sense for better cover depth as well. Though not super confident about either

It's mid rangey as but can't decide on who to ditch. like garner or miller are my likely options and the bank could turn them into a gun level player but is that the play this year?

I see heaps of value and minimal risk in a lot of them despite guns and Milchcows being gospel. With lots of trappy cows around and byes i'm considering TMM, keppie, loiero etc even being 18, 19 etc but feels like i'm not maxing out the squad

Yeah honestly not loving either of them.

Anyway just going to play him, hope the pack plays him as well, and he scores well. If he doesn't, oh well he's 230k anyway Lol
