Ponga is the big question mark for me. Originally was never that interested but after selecting the rest of the team that I would like I am left with funds for a WFB that pretty much leaves a choice of Ponga or Miller.

Part of me says he is obviously a gun, priced at 37 should safely exceed it. But then the other part says it is hard to score really well as a half that wont kick much, he'll need a lot of attacking stats.

Yeah, the more I look it at the more I think

Haas - Just goes back to being Haas. Paying premium for premium points. (55-60)
Ponga - Has potential to not only make cash, but also produce some solid scores. If he is fit and can string some games together, could be a great punt. (40-50)
Butcher - Haven't really seen much on him, but his scores when given minutes are very good. 80 minute edge roll all his? (45-50)
Potential of 140-160 + the opportunity to downgrade if 1 or 2 fail.

Tino - Huge end to the year. Seems to be the Titans theme, finishing strong when they can't make the finals. Could be a little value there, but more chance to fall back to the 48-55 kind of range.
Trell - Trell is trell. Not sure if he will ever find that consistency. One brain fart away from a suspension. One of those players you love to watch though.
Loiero - Cash to be made. Sims and Eisenhuth due back R2. If fails not much money to jump ship.

Ponga is a wait and see for me (tbh so is Miller but I picked him anyway because he is starting > $500k and has the spot )

I think it will take them a few games to sort themselves out (if it's going to happen at all)

Who do we prefer out of CNK and TMM? Having a hard time splitting the two.

Go TMM buddy, cheaper and DPP. Probably lower floor but still should hopefully be compensated by the tackling in the front line.

Looks fairly standard. Only thing I'd comment on is most people keen on Keppie are giving him a week to see what role he ends up with. Could be limited minutes available for him at lock and could just be lock by name with Jurbo still playing out there.

If you start without him you get a week to look at him, and them some more time to bring him in as he has the bye week 2.

Would have been good if a few of the mid range WFB like Drinky, Gutho, Edwards etc had of pulled up towards the end of the season. Everyone (Trbo and Ponga excepted) is priced at what looks like their level

I'm starting him. I reckon Knights are a little more competitive this year. Probably won't win more than 8-9 games but will be a little closer in their losses. If they string a few losses together and want to change things up Ponga only gets put back at FB anyways. If they succeed than more likely than not Ponga is playing well. If all else fails, he is cashed up enough to change to another cheapie/middy you might have missed out on or who is new to the crew.

Been catching up and am currently flirting with this line up. Feels a gun short, and definitely gambling on some.

I've kicked both Cheese and E.Butcher to the kerb. As a result I now have a team I am happy with focusing both on scoring big and making cash. No time for anything in between!
