Probably that I don't know much about him haha. Couldn't tell you what he looks like so I guess he feels like one of those bits and pieces players that won't really stick around (to me)

Bellamy typically plays his edges close to 80 mins but he's had seasoned first graders there for a long time. Chris Lewis in the 17 could spend 20 mins there.

I'm still leaning yes have to pick him.

I'm expecting him to play exactly like Beau Fermor and Teig Wilton because they're all clean-cut boys and if you stood them in front of me in a line up I couldn't tell you which was which.

    I've done Sutton + 250k in 17 (Blore/Trindall/Carty)

to Uto+Ford. Seems better though worried Sutton will score really well

I really need to see a 'training the house down' article on UTO.

Hunt vs Talau as cheap CTR/WFB cover, has this been discussed at all?

I think my main non-cookie cutter move this year will be to use Suaalii as a quick stepladder to Bird.

Bird is the only centre playing as a starting forward (some risk, but sounds near enough certain https://www.zerotackle.com/dragons-make-call-on-starting-five-eighth-140361/) and he's 0.6% ownership. Likely to be a huge team-tearing scramble to get him in in a couple of weeks, so anticipating that. Did consider picking him straight away as a 600k red dot, but will try this way instead. Hopefully Suaalii can score well and make a bit of coin in the next three weeks with Dolphins and Warriors, but if he looks and scores terrible have cash to make the trade straight away.

I actually don't hate the Suaalii pick on it's own, regardless of a plan to move him on.

Highly touted player into his second full year in a strong attacking team. Have considered him as an option to bolster my CTR instead of going fully cheap there which is fraught with danger.

Think he's just as good an option as Staggs and Tass who have been discussed, and slightly cheaper too.

Might have a play around and see if I can make room for him.

My plan is have Warbrick in my emgs, if he gets a good score then i'll go Walsh and a non cheapy ctr like Suaalii or Koula. If Warbrick goes bad then back to a cheap ctr and Teddy

Marzhew has hip pointer injury so Hunt has job security issues

I've been tinkering this morning and come to the conclusion that I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm sure I'll make the wrong choices.

Might just go the Gareth and MTB strat of picking players I like watching as long as they're mildly good choices.

I voted TD but maybe HSS Loriero is an option if the cash can be usefull elsewhere.

    Certainly pass on Hammer though.

Currently have Murray, Haas, Grant, Cleary as my guns over 700k.

Anyone's thoughts on whether to leave this or downgrade Murray, Grant to some of the other cheaper guns and have a more rounded team.

    Hi everyone.

Well, this season has certainly crept up on me, I'm still sorting my team out and can't believe it's week 1 already, and that I'm on the late shift today so will miss the opener!

    Good luck to all

HSS only one of those I have. I would get Garner over the Lololo but not keen on either myself although I get the Garner popularity. Yeet HTF from thoughts. He's not points or $$$ making relevant at Dolphins from what we've seen so far

doesnt look top heavy compared to most teams. I have 5 700+ guys for example.

Finch wrote:I've removed Brandon Smith from my team and added in Fifita, 86K left - Good enough to go now

Just don't think Smith is going to be as good as people think, can defo see him burrowing over for a try or two though that's the annoying thing lol

    He loves a missed tackle

Even if he averages 55 for next three weeks, "Only" goes up $50K or so

While I see your point, Smith isn't meant to be a cashcow in terms of money making. He is that budget midranger that will make some cash and score well for the first 3 weeks and will be about $600k to upgrade week 4 if there is someone who had a slow start to the season.

You don't buy out and out guns for their money making potential, you want some stability in your squad.

That was my thinking, debating whether to downgrade Murray to a Carrigan and get another Gun in the team

Currently got the same 4 + Doueihi. Strongly considering downgrading Grant and Murray to Tapine and Cotter and using the cash elsewhere as well..
