Don’t necessarily have to rely on talau.

Does anyone have Alamoti nsw cup stats? I think he has been training with the first team at left centre. Could be another option and leave talau with his dual in emgs
You’d just end up picking backs on matchups surely and that’s never backfired before

Rugby League Fantasy Pro has reserve grade stats

https://app.rugbyleaguefantasypro.com/fantasy/gamelog (there's a "select comp" toggle in the top right)

I'm working under the assumption that Alamoti will not start, and if he does, I can swap one of my other 250k cheapies to him (Doorey most likely given that Matto could easily push him out in round 4).

Also Val's goalkicking puts him ahead of other gun centres I feel, and his early draw is really good so he'll be kicking a lot of goals. Also helps that he has no byes before Origin.

If Doorey is starting EDG, not picking him to start the season on the off chance that Matterson might replace him when returning from suspension has the potential to go very wrong. Could easily be the best base priced cow in the comp. Look at what the Eels have managed to do with their other EDG players who have gone from very average to outright guns - Lane, iPap, Matterson.

Thanks for that site! Confirms my thoughts on Perham, averaged 45 at fullback last season.

Obv you pick Doorey *if* he starts. Worst that can happen is you burn a trade after three weeks switching to another emerging cow. Haven't seen anything convincing that he *will* start, Carty and (bad for fantasy) Murchie also options.

Certainly wouldn't expect the second coming of iPap though, and incidentally Matterson was a fantasy gun before joining the Eels.

I can guarantee you that Doorey will start R1 - Lock him in Rhino

Odds are there will be another bench utility to spell Verrills (they did sign Chris Randall from the Knights), there is almost no chance Clark plays hooker if there's another utility in the team. Holbrook himself said that Clark's move to lock was permanent and he only moved him back to hooker at the end of last year because Booth got injured and they had nobody else left.

55ish mins at lock is what is most likely for Clark, in which case he likely averages in the mid to high 50s (his PPM when playing middle only is 1.04)

I think they will carry Campbell on the bench and he won’t play hooker.
