Not particularly fantasy relevant but Bradman Best and Enari Tuala to be stood down for this weekend's game for being late for a team bus.

    Arthur on Moses:
“He trained today and I’ll be naming him in the team,” Arthur told NRL360 on Monday night.

“He needs to get through everything for the week, but he’s a real good chance.

“Probably won’t be able to confirm that until our last session, but he’s keen and he’s confident of getting himself right to play.”

Are the knights challenging the tigers for the ridiculous decision making?

Two players injured, out on the sauce (best case scenario). “We’ll look into it”

Players Late for the bus, swearing at trainers….put in reserves.

Interesting question. Depends how confident you are with your scoring 17. Plenty of players might just get early showers rather than being rested so it’s hard to know who to trade. I’d be tempted to hold for the last round if I’m confident my round 24 17 can put out a decent total.

Looks like the rainbow boys have no issue demonstrating full support for a friend convicted of a serious charge.
To be clear I have no issue with that in isolation but the hypocrisy is next level

Fifita got a breach notice and fine for doing something similar in the past.

AFB and Olakau'atu should get the same if there's consistency but the NRL are pretty quiet on this right now.

Only difference is the guy Fainu stabbed didn't die and the person they are supporting is (as far as I'm aware) still a contracted NRL player?

I think the NRL will keep quiet until after an appeal and like I say, I don't have any issue with them supporting a friend who is in serious trouble and facing a long stretch inside but I do have an issue with the distinct lack of recognition that he may have done something fucked up and someone else nearly lost their life because of it.
The bible is pretty big on that sort of shenanigans

It leaves a bad taste much like the DeBelin "I knew I was innocent all along' interview even though the case was abandoned and the circumstances were pretty fucked up regardless of burden of proof.
