If your target was Munster though I wouldn’t take a free look on the hope of the 0.00001% chance of Wishart actually scoring well

Looking at Tapine Murray or Cook. Have Hughes so won't double up on Munster

    Too true.

I guess I'm pretty fortunate this week.  Think I'm still going Moses and Cleary to Manu and Haas. Its weird, I have a strong 18 but then Palasia and 2 red dots.

Might make Aitken 18th man to loop but I won't have half or WFB cover.  Can play him and have no centre cover instead.  Not sure yet.

Could go Haas and Murray but then have no cover in all 3 positions lol.

    Still have 2 trades afterwards.

My mrs was born 5yrs to early, by the time she was at her best, AIS started taking womens develop more seriously, chose to throw money at the 16-18yr olds not the 25yr old who was actually winning.

    Any way. Ruby league.

Some times you have to make a decision as to lay up with a iron before the water hazard  or pull out the driver and give it a crack.

But dropping Klem when we are desperate to avoid our 4th spoon just reeks.
For a guy who brags on being "part of the coaching team that went to four GFs" he still has a lot to learn about player management.

I'm good friends with Peter Parr's sister - next time we are at a BBQ I'll be getting in his ear about securing the Knights an actually competent coach.
I'd be looking at Potter for a younger risky option, or Flanagan for an experienced premiership winner (who was actually the head coach).

There is a reason most clubs won't go near Flanagan.

He won a premiership and 50% of his time at the club they were illegally fielding a team for one reason or another and when he was suspended he was still ignoring the rules.

Dragons went with Anthony Griffin ahead of him as a head coach. Even they weren't that desperate. Maybe they should have been!

You're probably right. But, the Knights need to do something.
It's been 21 years since their last Premiership.
There's been reasons for earlier struggles (the 3 spoons were basically a result of financial mismanagement - thanks Tinkler), but the team includes a couple of current SOO rep players, as well as a few ex-rep players.
It's obvious that they need an experienced halfback who can manage the attack and drive the team around the park.
Not sure how many are available - look at what Chad brought to the Cowboys.
There's talk of shifting Ponga into 5/8, but IMO he's better as fullback and brings an x-factor to the attack.
Clifford is passable as a 5/8, but can't control the team's attack.

Hey guys sorry I’ve been a bit quiet been busy at work and I’ve been enjoying watch bits and pieces of the Commonwealth Games I really enjoy it.

So coming into round 21 now I have 3 trades and 348k itb. The plan is to trade out Moses and Cleary. I’m holding RFM hoping he’s back next week, Kennedy I’ll leave as a red dot for now and I’m also carrying Matamua so getting a bit thin.

    The plan is to do:

    Moses to Munster
    Cleary to Murray

Would leave me 1 trade spare with 243k itb......

    Team would be:

    Cook
    McInnes Murray Lolo
    Ipap Fifita
    DCE Munster
    Burton Aitken
    Teddy Latrell Hynes

    Tohu Elliot Angus Booth
    RFM Mbye Kennedy Matamua

    Thoughts?

I could use the last trade on Kennedy to Douiehi but I figure holding on to a trade is like gold. The Titans bench does look better for Booth getting bigger mins as well so if he gets a 30 or so I’d be happy at this point. And RFM should likely be back next week anyway.

After dropping around 230 ranks last week I’m hoping for a green arrow this week! Currently sitting at 635 rank.
