But this isn’t politics, recognising and respecting fellow human beings and being inclusive, I do not believe is political. We respect everyone. It doesn’t matter what your sexual orientation is, what your belief in marriage is, what your race is, what your colour is, we respect you as a human being. The ANZAC, Indigenous and Women in League jerseys are just as political as this. Has anyone ever tried to get out of wearing any of those jerseys

Can it be like Sunday league soccer, where players turn up in whatever ol djersey they have laying around, as long as it vaguely fits the colour scheme?

It's interesting, another one is the national anthems and that being accepted if u approve or disapprove of it.

    Did Garner get injured?

Can Matamua play 80 on his edge for the rest of the season? Cheers

Sadly, I think Matamua is at least a 0.7 on the Trent Peoples scale of bad cashouts

I've got Mata and Vailea. It's a tightrope. Been looking at Mbye as a cashdown to enable a couple fo upgrades, but could just go sideways for an extra warm body

The real talking point out of this, is how useful those 4 trades are now.

    Damn Haumole and koula.

Yeah I’m the same with Ponga. Probably should just do a sideways trade for Savage, floor seems to be 25/30 but with a try can go a bit higher.

Could do 2 trades and get Teddy and Mbye for Ponga and RFM. Not sure what way to go, makes the loop a bit useless as Booth and Mbye would be the only ones there to outscore the gunsi

I would do that over sideways trading to Savage.

Just leaves me a 18-21 of Booth, Mbye, Trindall and Matamua which isn’t exactly safe

I really want to know what you’re doing when you settle on it

I think I’d do 4 and let it ride if I could get 17 guns plus 3-4 playable green dots. But I think I’m currently running 19 greens so need a trade or two spare

Same I only have 19 green dots at the moment and the red dots aren't worth enough to trade so got to consider whether depth is more important or just going balls to the wall and letting it ride with 0 trades but more guns.

    Just can't get past

Playing with a wife-beater like Dylan Walker: no issues, he's just one of the boys.

Wearing a colourful stripe of fabric: no way, not wearing that shit.

    Make it make sense.

How is acknowledging the existence of the LGBTQIA+ community in any way political?

Thankfully this isn't a political issue so we're free to talk about how good it is of a club to move to be inclusive of all people

ANZAC Round is much more political than a rainbow stripe, but the people who don't want sport and politics to mix don't seem to have a problem with it

One of my favourite pieces of Rugby League history was when the Nazis invaded France, they basically outlawed Rugby League due to the sport being closely aligned with the French political opposition whereas French Rugby Union had ties to the right wing administration put in place in France by the Nazis. Many Rugby League players became resistance fighters.

The Rugby League World Cup trophy is named after French underground resistance fighter Paul Barrière.
