Thinking of using 2 of last 4 trades this week to go Barnett+Mahoney to Grant+Haas leaving:

    Grant
    Harris, Lolo, Haas
    IPap, DFifita
    Cleary DCE
    Burton May
    Teddy, Latrell, Hynes

    AD, Moses, Frizell, RFM
    Koula, frown, Pole, Kennedy

I'm a Cook, Murray and Aitken away from my ideal team but I think this is the strongest I can manage without using all of my trades. Have 82k left. Anyone thoughts on other plays to make would be much appreciated.

Think Barnett is a hold if he gets that edge spot with Fitzgibbon supposedly injured

Any, back to fantasy, is McInness to Butcher sideways?

    5 trades left.

McInness just seems to be stuck in that ~50 mins for ~45 points role, and frees up a bit of cash if I want to make another upgrade next week.

think i'm just gunna go build the almost-god-squad at the cost of having 1 trade to keep it running, been more focused on trying to do the fun thing as opposed to the smart thing this year, and i don't think i have a worse success rate than usual, certainly being in the top 400 at this point of this season is a marked change from my usual pace of sitting at around a mid 4 figures ranking, and bringing in Haas/Murray and Fifita to put this 17 out on the park does seem like a lot of fun -

    Cook
    Murray/Haas/IPap
    Fifita/Crichton
    Cleary/DCE
    Burton/Aitken
    Hynes/Teddy/Doeuhi

    Grant/Robson/Harris/Reyno

Keep reading people saying "No other club will look at doing this now because they won't want to deal with the pushback".

The jersey sold out in hours. I guarantee clubs took notice of that.

Many Rugby League players became resistance fighters.

The Rugby League World Cup trophy is named after French underground resistance fighter Paul Barrière.

All rugby leagues assets were sold off by Vichy France and funnelled into unions coffers. The game was banned for 4 years. Money was never returned despite lobbying governments over the years.

Post-war agreement meant while rugby league was legal it couldn't be called rugby: it's was Jeu a Treize (game of 13) until 1991. It also was banned in schools. It's a miracle the game still exists at all in France.

Would love them the game in England to get a boost and become a bit more competitive relative to NRL, and lift France with it.

Depends what the other upgrade is. But on its own I think it's sideways. McInnes is fit and has a secure role, and will get better if Finucane is suspended

I think it's a minor upgrade, probably not worth doing in isolation, but worth doing if you put the extra cash to good use as well.

Keep eye on Finucane judiciary, if unsuccessful McInnes should start for 3 weeks

I’m in same boat, if your EMG isn’t a bunch of red dot scrubs I like the idea

Personally plan of McInnes/Ming + Edwards to Cook + Teddy is move I’d expect me to gain 30 pts a week (with Edwards likely for a rest IMO as has played every week this year)

Koula, Pole, Palasia and Trindall, so could be better but could be worse, i don't think I'm in with a serious shot at any prizes, so i don't mind spinning the wheel and seeing if i hit the jackpot.

Forgot about Finucane, true, will keep an eye on that.

Was thinking Lolo to Cotter as the upgrade, but obviously want to wait a week to see how Cotter looks on return.

Alternatively, tempted by Lolo to Teddy, but that would mean Crichton off the bench to MID and Tohu as my only cover for 5 MID/EDG positions, which seems a tad risky.

    Thanks all.

I like it. That's almost the perfect team I reckon. Could obviously go horribly wrong with just one trade, but probably worth the risk.

All of a sudden tempted by Moses to Munster. Probably a bit sideways, but Munster just 5% ownership in the top 5000 and Warriors + Titans in the next two...

They will have to go outside their top 30, and he's been playing for Blacktown, their NSW Cup feeder team. So makes sense.

    Sad but not surprising.

I'm sure there are many players and pundits who hold this sort of belief.

One too many head knocks for Gal, I reckon.

Is it likely the 7 standing down for this week will face further suspension? I don't want to trade out Haumole if he's only missing this week. He was limping last week though
