Tempted by the wildcard already, just to keep it engaging.

I fall for it every year....basically it's De Bruyne or no one from the Man City midfield/attack (although I reckon Haaland get a good run this season). Everyone else gets rotated randomly and even if they don't you keep thinking they will

I think the Man City rotation is fairly overblown. Pep generally sticks to the same back 4 until they have titles wrapped up, and the midfield while rotated is usually far more settled than people carry on.

I think the issue is there’s just far too many good players and the points get shared around too much. And KdB is too expensive

True, defence is pretty settled but with attacking midfield & forwards (KDB excepted) it's a bit of pot luck. Sterling used to get some reliable game time but even that shifted during the season. The amount of high quality talent they have is ridiculous (KDB, Rodri, Haaland & Gundogan look to be regulars and Silva, Mahrez, Grealish, Foden are sharing the rest of the minutes)

First penalty miss since 2018. Would have been nice but we move on

83 points. moved to significantly more than 160k rank (inside top 1m though)

Stuff like Salah shows how it’s just a dumb game and even if you’re invested you shouldn’t get too invested.

Way more susceptible to variance that NRLFF or most other fantasy games due to the really simple scoring system.

The odds of Salah blanking in a 9-0 must be so small.
