If you had Yeo, would you trade him?  I know it's only me and Welshy but I'm torn on this one.  If I trade him I keep Penis. I've made 90K and looking at his scores, there's a case to trade him over this period.

If it were me, I'd keep them both. Two keeper green dots (not this round but going forward)

I think McInnes is a bit overated on here tbh. Doesn't look like he'll average more than 55 and he's already priced there.
If you've picked him up for cheap already great but I think there will be better value elsewhere from here on in.
Avg of around 53-55 that’s fine for in your 14-17 for the run home or fine as a third starting  mid. I’m not seeing that many great options for Round 17 so I think McInnes is close to Must have if you’re playing overall and need numbers in 17, this round 13 is better I feel for guns though. Like if I didn’t get McInnes I could look at a Klemmer but that’s an extra 100k and that money I could use to get Pap back in.

bigbruno wrote:People talking about trading out Hastings confuse me. Dude was almost 50 in base points before he got injured and is playing injured now so not running the ball, kicking goals or kicking in play as much. He’s still the leader of the pack and has his hands on everything.

He’s a wait and see for me, if his foot is no good after the bye week and he scores poorly, sure he drops cash but you can trade then. He’s worth the wait, as if he’s back to his normal he is a keeper for sure.
Personally I don’t think he’s a keeper that’s gonna avg between 50-55 with his foot troubling him. I think he will avg mid 40’s and with his nerve injury in his foot that’ll have to be managed from here on out and it will affect him. I’ll be selling now and cutting my losses before he loses even more cash every dollar saved is precious. I can’t afford a DCE as I will need to get Ipap, Pap and then Cook in for the run home so I have to settle for Moses who is avg 52.5 so far this year I think he can keep that up and is a step up of what Hastings will provide in the run home.

The alarming thing for me re Hastings was how much lower his kick metres were the last 2 weeks it could pick up again but for how long..... then the nerve issue in the foot will flare up again and he’s not kicking as much again and not goal kicking again!

I think it’s time to start looking at ‘marginal’ dudes like Yeo, Critta, Hastings etc as keepers until you see how the mid part of the season rolls out (trades, cows, injuries and value wise).

There might be an opportunity to upgrade them…..but there might not. The top guys are priced significantly above everyone one else at the moment and cash making has stalled a bit.

I probs would trade him Yeo that is as Penrith will manage him through this period and you have more trades than most have so he’s I think you can afford to let him go now to someone who will play more through this period it’ll be better for you points wise mate.

I wouldn’t trade Penisini last 9 games his avg has been 43.8 that’s fine for a centre for mine. He would’ve got another 50 on the weekend if he didn’t go HIA. Penisini also has been busting lots of tackles and offloading as well.

Bit confused by the Peoples comments. Kiraz was given an exemption due to covid in the team, then when teams were able to bring in players from outside the top 30 he started again. Was he on a development contract as the reason it's different (i.e "outside of the top 30 = development players)?

The team structure appears to be: Top 30/Development players/extended squad. On wiki Peoples and Shaquai Mitchell (playing) are listed as "extended squad" (realise this could be wrong). Kiraz also lists as extended squad. Probs doesn't matter as it doesn't look like he will play either way.

"A few clubs will dive straight into their wider squads this week with train-and-trialer Nu Brown set to make his club debut for the Tigers, while the Roosters are also a chance of handing an NRL debut to workhorse prop Terrell May."

Cap'n Ranta wrote:To be honest I'm more worried about my final 17.

Best averaging team currently costs $14.606m. Given how tough cash gen has been I'm not sure anyone will make it there (best team only has $13.9m). I've written my thoughts in my team tracker but any "forced/sideways" trades to get numbers seem like a terrible idea. Think more than ever its going to be about assembling a team faster and possibly picking the right cut price keepers.

I'm very seriously considering running Walsh this week over getting Papy later or Garrick as my WFB3 just for the cash savings. Know its less points in the long run but don't feel I can afford the full gun final team.

Go to'o for final 17 his cheaper then Garrick

Is Ilias to RFM worth a trade? Obvious worry is it’s maybe a decent trade this week but ends up on the bench next week

You've hit the worry on the head.

Other issue for many will be that Ilias, may be there only half backup (except maybe Hynes or Burton in WFB/CTR)

I may be misremembering, but pretty sure benchwankery refers to putting 4 green dots in your 18-21 and watching your score and rank rise when they're all added in after the final game.

Someone correct me if I've got that mixed up.
