Burton + Coates > Taaffe + Lolo

Feels a bit unhinged right? I think my team's at a point where I don't need to chase Taumalolo this hard but he's good to grab at a slight discount

I am considering going with Taafe over the goat Edrick Lee. The extra money would be nice but I already own one failed 220k player in Koula. Lee isn't going to play the Dragons every week and I can see Taafe being the better option in the long run which not many will go for just because of price.

In isolation, Taafe costs 7 points more than Edrick, and is very likely more than 7 points better than him, imo.

How fucked up are people going to be if Koula doesn't play and Papy is a late Bellamy scratching on Monday? Coates or Edrick or nothing for a lot of teams, I guess.

For sure. Taafe is a good ball player and will potentially be getting Johnstone try assists from that out the back play close to the line. Those are potentially 9 points a pop including points for goal kicking.

I don’t reckon Lee holds the spot when Dom Young returns, Hymel Hunt will also be in the mix soon.

Taaffe not great but at least playable in a pinch. A better pick IMO unless you’re completely skint and need to save 100k.

I'll be fine, I have Undefeated Origin Superstar Edrick Lee as backup for WFB if something happens to Papy

Young will come back into the team no doubt. I can see Lee keeping a spot on the other wing, what I can't see is him scoring well.
