Just not sure Jones is a buy as a cash cow at the moment. Seems to have maybe 100k left in him.

100K is better than 0K, VERY slim pickings this year.

I need the two cheapest cash-outs possible this week. Edrick will do as one and Peham is attractive but seems dangerous. Otherwise I just take the punt and hope Koula is only out this week for HIA protocols...

This was in the DT team list article:

    Marata Niukore (leg tightness) rested.

Arrow had to discharge from hospital with infection to play and Murray had an early shower in the blow out. Knight has never been fantasy relevant. The only time we thought he was, everyone got burned badly. In that price range I would go Jones or Luki ahead of him if you need a forward you can play in your 17.

Luki may be an option, a bit more pricey than Knight, but seems to have the starting EDG position on merrit. Plays rd 13 too

I've had Jones since his first week and I'm very unenthused. Plodder. Has however long it takes for Fitzgibbon to come back to make slow cash. I sold Tuilagi early (to jump on Starling) but if you don't have him would definitely pick him up in preference to Jones.

I grabbed Tuilagi last week, was tossing up between the two. I need someone cheapish to allow for the Taumalolo trade but is also playable in the 17. Not to keen on going super cheap and looping with a Leo/Ilias/Bullemor 😂

Yeah, I saw that - sounds like a brief absence.

With Russell due back R8-10 as well there's a lot to say that Perham is an avoid. But I do expect him to go quite well this weekend, which is what tempts me if he could hold a spot and Niukore joins forward rotation.

I don't like how the 17 is weakened by bringing in Cleary. I'd need to play Kobe this week.

I need someone 429k max as a Cleary enabler (will be in my 17 every week).
Thinking Luki, Dylan Walker, Taaffe. Any ideas?

The Luki chat is interesting me a bit. Can he make money though

Don’t mind bringing in two players from the same team, how sure are we that Luki has won that spot from Gilbert or whoever was there?

    Cleary in options

Jing and Nanai for Cleary and Rushton (have to play BroJo at edge

Jing and S Crichton for Cleary and some under 258k scrub (have to start Edrick)

Jing and Aitken for kelma/Taafe and Cleary

    Or....

DCE and Jing for Angus and Cleary

I know trading DCE seems dumb, but it was my initial plan, and this gives me two upgrades, rather than be stuck with more trash (still carrying Billy Smith and Koula.

    #2 for me.

Getting rid of two expired cows, whereas #3 and #4 are getting rid of keepers.

Nanai probably more potential to make a bit more cash, maybe, over Crichton, hence my selection of #2.

Luki started last round and played 80. Gilbert was on the interchange and played 57.
It doesn't look like Gilbert was injured.

Fifita will only go on 1 or 2 runs... so it's only a couple of missed tackles
