If i was to do something like a Crichton/Bully to Gilbert/Thompson then next week I should comfortably be able to do Mahoney/Clark to Cleary/Jones

At least that alleviates some stress caused by my MIDs

I'm going against the grain & buying Jing instead of Jones. I will get Jones next week. He has a b/e of 24 & because it's his first real game after injury & covid I expect he'll get 60ish mins due to lack of match fitness & score in the range of 28-35 so his price won't go up much. I'm taking a punt on Jing now being a constant starter.

    Cook
    Haas, M King, Crichton
    D Fifita, Tago
    Sexton, Schneider
    Crichton, Burton
    Pappy, Hynes, HTF

    Coates, Randall, Walters, Jones

    Thompson, Ilias, Moale, Koula

I have already used the 1 trade this week getting rid of A Fifita for Jones.

    A) Do i start building up more cash to get in Cleary by dropping Crichton down to a Cotter/Aitken
    B) Do i leave Gus and hope he gets back into the starting lineup

This whole crichton thing has annoyed me whats everyone's thoughts on if he will get back in the starting lineup

I think if you are getting both, Mann is the more urgent this round.

I've predicted them both to end up with an average close to 50.
Starling is a little cheaper (so makes a bit more $) and his team plays the R13 bye - that'd edge me to him (unless Manns MID/HLF is much more useful to you)

Thanks guys, think I will go Mann this round as more useful position-wise and grab Starling next week if I can

This is an interesting point. I absolutely hate him as a player, never once thought about starting with him or bringing him in. I keep expecting him to fall flat on his face.

He was average round one, and would've had an average score in that game without OT. I expect Storm to do some shuffling an hour before kickoff, but it does seem if he can carve out 60 odd minutes he will be a good player for a while. Always the risk he drops down to 40 odd minutes with Grant and Smith building up but who knows. Tui out, Welch gone for the year, Eisenthuth is average, are there really any better options for the Storm? Maybe he's just a crappy Welch this season? Only needs to average 45 to make good coin and sure up your mids for a minute. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Starling 45 more likely if utility taking minutes. He had error free game last week and unlikely 0.5ppm in non base stats every week

I started with Jings. I'm not even sure I trust he'll get enough mins this week to play in my 17. I have 2nd trade Ilias>Jones but I might just do 1 trade and wait a week

    Thompson, Ming, Tuilagi, Nanai, Jones.

Who misses out? Currently on Thompson.

Jing to fall down to 42.33 minutes a week for plodder scores of 30 with Brandon back, playing as more of a prop. Starling to start thoroughly disappointing everyone with a 38 every week with less and less attacking stats. Side note - raiders to lose 5 in a row.

Yep Thompson or Ming for mine and I'd play the guy who has two 50s out of the two
