    Trade this week?

Taumalolo -> DWalker - matches his output [and minutes] at a much-reduced price
Mann -> Hynes - significantly more upside and a season keeper who is not likely to play origin

TU - Yes go for it or
TD - It is too sideways

Is Jing still a cow or transitioning to coin goat with the cheese back this weekend or next? Prepping for Cleary and May not an option with Billy Smith taking the role of low scoring winger only available at centre

Also are the BEs on MTB’s site up to date? Scrolled for the wise cows BEs but failed

Are people building a fund for Cleary for R4 thinking he plays this week, or just to get him in first grab without a game under his belt?

I generally update the first post of this thread with my BEs so they're easy to find (and they are there now if you have a look)

I am not getting him until he has played at least one game

His performancce in his first game will determine how quickly I try to get him into my team. But having funds available to make it easier is the goal

Captain Fifi for me this week. After a couple try-less games and underwhelming scores he is going to repay us pundits with a barnstorming performance, 2 Tries, 7 TB's, 160 MG, 3 LB, handful of tackles and 3 OL to hand for a nice 75+

I am looking at Walker in addition to Starling this week. 1 playable guy short on being able to bring in May this week.

A couple of guys that can score 40-50+ regularly on the bench and are cheap, will be great after some of the recent sub 20s disasters we have seen, from what looked like solid picks.

Will be nice to have Nanai on the loop and get to see his score before deciding if I want it.

Hynes looking great, will be my captain this week. Must have. Just not sure on trading out Mann to get him, if you have any other options.

Have tentatively done Ilias > May. Not really happy max trading two weeks in a row but points are hard to come by and Panthers left edge is full of them. With Knights and Panthers showing their attacking prowess in the first two games, I predict this to be a big score line and plenty of attacking opportunities.

He's now priced at around 30. So for a true cash cow you'd want him to average 40 going forward and anything less is probably unplayable in your 17.
He's been getting 65+- the first two weeks and with Grant out will probably get that this week.
currently averaging 44 in 65min but he did make 50 tackles last week which is probably an outlier.
    So let's say he's averaging 40-45 in 65min.

If his minutes drop, he's not going to bridge that gap of 10 points.
He's probably got one more week through Grant being out with Covid and after that I'd guess his minutes will reduce - how much they reduce by is the question.

Would you buy someone priced at 30 if they were going to average 35 going forward? Is that playable in your 17? Probably not.

Thoughts on selling Tuilagi to May? He could very easily not get his spot back from Garner next week, and I like the idea of not owning any Tigers players.

Leaves me 183k bank as well, so a bit better for getting Cleary than if I sold Billy Smith or Ilias instead

Trading Crichton to Starling for cash and HOK cover.

Now the question is who to play in the 17 out of Bullemor, Nanai and Paulo.

Initial thoughts are I still want rid of bullemor even though he’s named, just hasn’t looked up to much despite his good week one score - though granted this is probably a bit of sin

I’m leaning toward giving lolo a reprieve, he played better than previous week (worse fantasy), they have nice fixtures but most importantly I’m expecting a big game in the QLD- it brings it out of him

I realise these are all subjective and not based on statistical analysis so will be considering things over next 24h

Thanks all for responses re: Cleary

I'm in the R5 or later camp.

R4 is very tight, especially with other potential fires, and forcing trading out players I probably don't want to.

Whereas I think it's pretty easy for me to have a Cleary fund for R5 without deliberately building a bank by foregoing pts. That's how I was looking at it.

Later is an option - even if Cleary looks like scoring head and shoulders above everyone else first out, that's more palateable when it's 70-75 and he's dropping cash than when it's 90-100 and he's making money like last season.

    Trades this week are Uto+Tuilagi -> Starling+Mking*
Bullemor gets another run in the 17 on the basis he is playing and Tuilagi isn't, and Vailea is still hovering but kinda useless for looping this week.

    *until shit happens
