Think I'm happy with most of my team, mostly tossing up between one HLF + one MID spot. Anyone want to weigh in on the following:

    a) Hunt + Lolo
    b) DCE + Mann
    c) Sexton + BSmith - actually have HOK cover
    d) Clifford + Crichton - run 3 gun mids
    e) Stefano + Any half who isn't DCE/Cleary

Rest of the team for context:

    Randall
    Haas TPJ ____
    DiFi (Fermor/Katoa)
    _____ Schneider
    Tago Penisini
    Pap Crichton Paulo

    Burton Nanai Bullemore Tuilagi

    Illias Coates Fifita (Amone/Billy Smith)

When is Tohu due back? Kind of put of by having two second rowers from the same team

EDIT: Scratch that, Katoa's scores without a try are a bit dismal.

No to Watson. He'll be the specialist 14, spelling both Verrills and Radley or filling in in the backline.

I actually don't have any Roosters in my team at the moment. Everyone is "nearly". Can't afford Angus without giving up elsewhere but might squeeze him in. Walker is tempting. Momo is tempting. Teddy could be huge again. (My burner team has all 4) Tupou could be top tryscorer this year and has a better base than almost all other wingers. Radley could be on the end of more plays rather than in the middle of them with Keary back.

Problem with Roosters for fantasy is that even with an easy draw the points will get spread around so everyone is a borderline pick who could be either amazing or disappointing for fantasy.
I just checked my team and realised that I'm with you there - no Roosters.
Same reason, Robbo is a master-coach who looks after his players. Roosters have so much depth that he's likely to rest players at will. The points get shared around, great IRL sucks for Fantasy.

Also, no Broncos (chose I.Pap over Haas).

Confession: my wife has pointed out I do the lean in a lot of photos. Same way as Cotter mostly. She hates it.

Show her your avatar mate-you look 100% straight up and down and symmetrical in that.

Cheers. Sexton seems to be a popular pick in the forums, with great promise too. Not sure how the hugely inexperienced spine will play into his scoring.

Have you considered Hunt? Or are we pretty set on Cody?

I am in a small minority on Cody here, just my personal opinion. Hunt is getting popular here. Some have Sexton.

Wasn't said last year that Sexton and Fifita played together in high school? A full pre-season under their belt to get those formations under their belt together, plus probably having some secret plays they have from back in the day and they both could really benefit from each other.

Bit scared that Sexton has to maintain a 50 average to pretty much not lose money.

    Has everyone gone off TPJ?

Surely if he was good value before the trial he still is, it's not like we learned anything new, suspension was always a risk.

I know different teams, more experience now, different halves partner, etc. but using a bit of historical data... in the 6 games walker has playing in the halves without Reynolds he has only averaged something like 37 points.

Hey Lads, I may have missed it but has anyone thrown a Junior Paulo hat into the ring…..captain of a strong team with a decent draw, pumps out solid minutes, loves an offload?

Everything thinking Walters a dead duck? I still think he has won the #6, but maybe too risky now. Last thing I heard was that if Areyn came in Kelly was going to bench (prior to Areyn being ruled out).

Got him instead of Vailea at #21. Can't have worse job security surely?

I don't think you'll get anything concrete before the weekend, and it might just come down to who plays the best in round 1.

If you want to read into things, it appears that Walters is playing on the left this week.

I had it in my head that Walker kicked more than Wighton and Schneider would therefore get a higher share of the kicking, but just looked it up and I'm well off on that. Have just reshuffled it so Burton starts CTR over Penis and Illias and Schneider are both in the 17 anyway.
