He would need to have a Turbo-like season. Already priced at 1.2 tries and 0.4 assists per game.
Still only young though, do you think he can average more than 29?
Meaney averaged 34 over his career playing there and Issako as well if you take away his goal kicking
Would you call that a capable floor in comparison?
I mean Dufty averages 40 when he was at the dragons, is Sloan as good as him?
Could be this years CNK,Laurie,Kennedy,Edwards?
But awkward priced when 100-150k gets you a Ponga/Papy/Walsh

You have to admit this makes him look like someone youd grab.

Clune didn't kick at all in the trial, it was all Clifford. That's just one trial and they may have been testing something out or Clune might have had a niggle, but it would have positive fantasy implications. Add the certainty of goalkicking and the abstract of player development and there *could* be 10+ points of value there.
Problem for me is unbalancing a squad that already has Cleary, Schneider, Amone, Ilias, Hynes and could do with better non-HLFs.
I agree with your assessment. There is no doubt Clune is a pointless waste of space, but Clifford won't suddenly start smacking out 55 points average in that team. There is plenty of other value options in the halves as you have quite correctly highlighted.

He isn't getting more than the 80 minutes a game from last season

Sloan passes the eye test for me. But can't spend 500K on him when 100K or so more nets you two guns in Paps and Hynes.
Definitely on the radar though as an upgrade option if he goes well enough.

I'm locking in Suli for one of my centre spots.
This year feels very different, I feel like I'm going to start with a mare of a team and be juggling slippery bananas all year

Does Lawton have enough time to make cash as a Randall backup?
Or safer to find some better hooker cover. or run Randall on the interchange and upgrade to a gun hooker

Getting the Ramsey combo? He was great setting him up for tries in the trials.

Lawton is a guaranteed trade out from round 2 (Olakau'atu) or 4 (Schuster), he will score about 40. He is priced at what 33?

@Welshy I am thinking about going straight to Cook, I reckon him and Walker run the Rabbits this year without the shackles he has had for the last two years.

Was thinking Cook mate or going with Clark as back up. But sure Haumole is out for 4-6 like Schuster

Haumole Olakau’atu is aiming to return in Round 4 for the Sea Eagles (via @telegraph_sport). Would be a 5 week return to play after suffering a right elbow subluxation, the 2nd instability event in that elbow for him in the past 12 months

Yeah mate I thought I read somewhere recently (points at Camo's post above) that Haumole might need 4+ but I couldn't find it again - thought I was going mad.
I have decided this year not to buy anyone I know I will need to trade out due to job security. So I have opted for 3 x mid $ makers and Cook/Randall
