Jennings at 240k, although probably shouldn't read much into it with no DEdwards.

If Flegler starts, his preseason form has been fantastic. Offloading at every opportunity. Might finally be his season.

Jack Hetherington is the more fantasy relevant player people should be thinking of anyway

I hope so but they probs play Staines he’s on a fair bit of money now after they upgraded his deal.

I'm backing that as his average over the first two rounds

Rd1  30 mins 36 seconds
Rd 2 30 mins 58 seconds

+/- 5.7 seconds depending on prevailing weather conditions

These guys get 4-6 weeks for a minor infraction, with all their loading. Before one is back, the other will be suspended.

Sounds stupid but I feel like I would rather have a player miss 4-6 weeks and be a blatantly obvious trade rather than Crichton being a tool and getting 4 separate 2-3 week suspensions

It a risky strategy picky someone on the basis that they are a chance of replacing someone who may or may not get suspended. I have a hard enough time managing the players I pick who are actually named to start.
My logic would tell me to pick the better player, hope he doesn't get suspended and if he does, use a trade to pick up his replacement. I'm not sure you are saving a trade picking someone who will get zero or bugger all minutes while waiting for someone else to get suspended.

He might get good game time over the course of the season, but he might not. There is also the opportunity cost of not picking a player who is actually increasing his value during the wait.

I'm fully aware that Mad Jack will blow my theory away by being placed on report for three separate offences in Rd1 but if he does the time to contemplate his replacement is then.
